    Great work Brenspeed! This happens to be my best Friends car! He is so excited! I pointed him in your direction, as I have the same set-up which I bought from you! I wanted to be there when Stan picked up the car! George treated him like a king! I can't wait to test drive the car!

    No better way to beat the heat than watching a New 3V Wednesday video or even 90 older ones .

      Watching yes, not so much making them in that heat though lol.

    Brent, I have to give it to you man, you make it look like installing a Vortech with an FRPP throttle body + manifold is no problem. Did you modify the metal coolant tube at all? Like add another dent on the other side to clear the throttle body housing? I've been mocking it up for hours and am like how the heck did this guy do this lol.

      @@BrenspeedEngineering Thanks boss, that indeed worked. I reckon if you haven't seen any coolant leaks from doing this I'm not worried about it. Appreciate all the help.

    I just recently subscribed bc you have so much informative and great content on 3valves! I'm trying to upgrade to one instead of my s197 v6. I saw that you have a shop out here in Texas in Cedar Hill is that correct?

      We would have used something like a Brisk 1 step colder or NGK. Here is a link www.brenspeed.com/05-08-mustang-engine-spark-plugs.html

    whats the life span of the v3 ? i got 20,000 miles on mine ... great video ...

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They don't really have a lifespan rating but I would say you can go 100,000 miles before a rebuild. They have a re-fresh plan which is basically new seals and bearings. All the hard parts pretty much last forever. The really only reason anybody ever rebuilds is if a seal maybe starts to leak or a bearing gets wore out and either of those are super rare.

      @@mogulme6190 450ish rwhp possibly .. its no powerhouse but it for sure woke the 3v up.. i think max boost is 10psi ive since added the ho upgrade its a smaller pulley and a water to air intercooler. it really depends on intake air temps iat i bet that car in the video is 500 to the tires on a cool day.. he did say it was 100 degrees that day... in the winter when iat are under 100 its feels like different animal

    Wondering why you don't add or recommend adding water/methanol to your non-intercooled set ups. I added a snow performance to mine and saw 80° temp drop, under boost, with a 40rwhp/20rwtq increase. Way less money than an intercooler.

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We do here is a link right in our 05-10 Mustang section. We use Snow Performance for cooling. We use a 4 or 5 nozzle depending on the power level. We use it to cool then the IAT will recognize it and load timing in for the lower iat temps. No tune required. www.brenspeed.com/05-08-mustang-power-adders-snow-performance-water-methanol-injection.html

      I have an 08 v6 made 415.6 rwhp and 389 rwtq . I have since done cams and springs and valves and made a set of stainless longtubes and a custom intake manifold. I need to get a new tune cause my tuner is no longer interested in doing the tune in one day wants it till he can fit it in. Ya no thats not happening. Do you tune 4.0l v6 cars?

      The reason you don't see a lot of 3V doing that like on the coyote is a couple reasons. 1 the engine is pretty low compression so you can run a ton of timing on supercharged applications on 93 octane unlike a higher compression coyote. 2 is the injectors/fuel pump upgrade that comes in our stock engine packages will not likely support the 30-35% more fuel demand of E85. So you end up buying a better fuel system and larger injectors for a pretty small HP gain. Now on a coyote, totally worth that investment and big gains can be made because with E85 you load the timing in on the high compression engine boosted. THANKS for watching!
