I’m an older writer who, encouraged by the existence of apps such as Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo and Procreate, is trying out digital art. Also, the iPad really works for me in this area - the touch interface, the stylus, the immediacy. It would be great to know, however, why seasoned artists feel that way.

Seems like you skipped a lot of info as far as using this app the first time. You didn’t mention what’s a persona, a develop, a photo….etc. beginners guide should be explaining how to use the UI and where to begin to do just a simple photo editing. You instead talked about layers half of this video. You should start with importing, cropping, straightening, basic editing, WB setting, exporting. You are doing a good job of explaining other stuff, but just too advance for a beginnner.

Please continue to do affinity tutorials on the iPad. I believe the iPad version is going to change the game of editing.

Can you not upload to the iPad with a SD card or any other sort of plug in? The only upload options are iCloud or the mobile photos?
If you use an sd card reader with lightning connection then you can upload photos to the ipad and then into affinity

Not sure, but you can definitely in Affinity Publisher.
