Just one thing to add on, after 1 or 2 attempts please do take up a job. Not because of peer or societal pressure but to have an industrial exposure which can help you to select the right specialization for mtech. Also judge your preparation by the gate score and if you are unable to crack it with ur repeated attempt, it's better to start preparing along with a job. I am a passout of 2021 from ECE. I had not prepared for gate in my last year but attempted it anyways and qualified with minimum marks. I later enrolled in online coaching but couldn't adjust to that mode of learning, so in 2022 I decided to join TATA aerospace and defense , fast forward 2024, I am working in Airbus. It's not a great achievement, but not even that bad I guess.
I also graduated in 2024 and I am feeling the same and I decided for the preparation of gate 2025. I have started my preparation with your course that is very awesome And I hope that I will win, not immediately but definitely 😊
Summary :Do not follow society expectation ...and try to accomplish that ....follow your dreams ..your passion ..Be happy always with whatever u are doing ....Aaj job nhi hai..toh job ki expectation ..kal shaadi ...parso bacche .....kale ho toh gore ki...motte ho toh patle ...patle ho toh motte ....nate ho toh lambe ....nak thodi ucchi honi chahiey thi ...aankhe badi hoti toh better lagti ......tameez ki exoectation ....all bullshit ...listen your heart only ...❤❤
I lost my job due to recession in Aug 2023, totally hopeless after that My elder sister encouraged me to do Masters, telling that this could be an opportunity After that, I planned for GATE 2024, being anxious (what if I am not successful in GATE) and depressed (due to job loss). This hampered my preparation, but still managed to get an old NIT

I attempted GATE twice. Back in 2023 in my 3rd year I hoped that I can do it but not qualified and cried a lot after result. Again tried in 2024 but not succeed. Now I am 2024 passout and with blessings of god I atleast got selected in TCS and will join it. I don't know what future holds for me. I started preparation for 2025 just 2 weeks ago and I know result is not in my hand. Even if I face another failure will give more shots to fulfill my desire of an IIT. So, will prepare with job until I get succees. May be god has different plans for me. Just doing my work until then let's see where my life goes on... Even after 2024 GATE I appeared in PGEE, ISI and many more exams but fell short by few margins every where and even getting selected did not get a sit for MTech from IIIT Delhi also. It is tough for me from schooling till college I never faced failure but only in competitive exams I am losing hopes and feeling demotivated. But still I think may it will take time for me. Me is the guy who Got above 90% in maths in ssc, hsc but got just 18 percentile in JEE then in GATE that same guy not able to tackle the situation.
Sir I have a gap of 6 years due to upsc preparation. I want to do mtech from a good iit/nit in 2025. Sir this gap may become a problem during placements? Please guide. Thank you
Koi matlab nhi hai ab engineering me scope dekhne ka. Bahut bheed ho gyi hai. Aap chahe iit se padhlo chahe tier3 se. Sab same hai . Job nhi hai proper ,karne wale bahut ho gye. Company kam paise me jyada kam lena chahti hai
