I’m Yasmyn Switzer, mom of three! I’m here to share my story about my journey as a mother, hopefully making memories that will last a lifetime for myself, Logan and my beautiful baby girls, Laela and Analia (plus baby girl number 3 coming Nov 2021!). It's so beautiful to see Yasmyn be a great mother of course, but Logan being an amazing father for both of the kids. After watching the previous video about Yasmyn's life, I feel so proud of how far she has come. And it seems we lived a very similar life so I feel her pain from those traumas. But she sure did prosper. We are the same age but I look up to Yasmyn. So much love.

The llama llama books are actually a series! There are a lot more of them I had them when I was a kid!
You could do games where people guess what the baby looks like, size, name, birthday and time, etc…

Okay so for my baby shower we actually had some really fun games when was like you blindfold well put them into pairs and you blindfold one person while the other feeds them baby food (from a list) and they have to guess what the baby food is (after so many they switch if you want) an whoever gets the most right team wise wins. It is kind of weird but fun and it was hilarious at my party. Also we did a baby bingo.

Shower ideas: a basket with newborn diapers that guests can write messages on...so when you use them you can read them....have people bring baby and kid books instead of cards, can even have money inside instead of gifts....the time has gone by so fast, oh my!!!

Please make long term financial plans. You and Logan need to learn marketable skills, because the TH-cam money could disappear at anytime! I'm not trying to be a Troll, I want you and your family to be secure.
I’m sure they’re doing things outside of youtube. Aside from ad revenue it’s hard to make a huge amount of money on TH-cam without have 1m+ subscribers. Lots of creators also invest their money in different things or do trend marketing as another side job.

Play a game we’re nobody can say baby or pregnancy and whoever says it looses there clip and gives it to the person who caught them and whoever with the most clips wins a prize!
You should do that game with a horse picture and your blindfolded and you have to put the tail on we’re the tail goes but instead of a horse you should to a baby and a pacifier like try and but the pacifier in the mouth I think it would be fun

I love the idea from a previous commenter about doing some paintings that would so cute to hang in baby’s room! You could also do like a diaper/wipes raffle. Diapers/wipes are always a need. With some cute prizes. It could also be cute to do a cute memory video like they did for Emma’s first birthday on friends! 🥰🥰

you should do activities of people guessing the day the baby will be born and height and weight because I did that with one of my dance teachers and I got the day right and felt so special!

You could name the dishes with things about babies, like if the food looks like a paci you could name it like that. If you do a ballon arch you could put sigs like "OH BABY" in between the balloons, it would be cute and this way it would be more baby showerish

I'm so excited for the new baby❤️! Your due date is literally on my birthday and it would be really cool if the baby girl was born that day, so that we could share our birthdays (I know that it's pretty unlikely to give birth on your due date from what statistics say, but anyway). I can't wait to meet her, see what she looks like, find out her name and most of all, to see you and Logan be parents to a newborn again. I don't know what it is, but I feel like pregnancy and being a mom to a newborn just suits you extremely well. I love your family❤️
I worked at a private event venue and one of my favorite things someone did was a mom-osa table with different fruit juices and champagne (if you want) it was super cute 💗💗💗

Please don‘t buy plastic plates, knives and forks. It is already forbidden to sell it here in Europe and they just sell paper and bamboo stuff. Paper plates work great aswell as bamboo knives and forks do. And if you can not find these kind of products just bring your own set of metal forks etc as you are just around 10 people
There is this game that I am not sure many people do, but at most baby showers I have been to, we played a game where we guess how big the pregnant one's stomach is by using toilet paper squares and whoever is on point or closest wins. I always had fun playing it and another I remember is like guessing how much candy (skittles, m&ms, etc.) is in the jar and same thing where if someone got the closest number or the correct number they win the jar of candy.
I thought that after first baby it’s called a sprinkle. In our area sprinkles/ or showers are usually planned and hosted by friends or family, not the mommy.
Do a nesting party!!
Get postpartum baskets, breastfeeding baskets, bathroom baskets so you have it organized before baby!
My family always does like a guessing board with the date, hour, weight, and height of birth! We never give anything to the “winners”, but it’s always really fun to see the guesses. Most of the other games we do are for first-time parents (like who can change a diaper the fastest) but they could be fun for your friends to play them rather than you and Logan!! :)
