    Congratulations! Can you tell me where you can find the info on primary care ranks and research ranks? Best wishes on your studies!

      Thank you!! The MSAR should have all the rankings and more specific info for each school!

    Congrats, how do most people pay for med school? Fafsa doesn’t cover everything right? Personal loans+student loans?

    • @stayambitious
      @stayambitious 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of people do take out student loans for the full cost of attendance, unless you receive scholarships or grants. The school you attend will calculate the COA, which includes tuition plus living expenses (rent, food, transportation, extra fees, etc.) And many students take out the full amount through FAFSA depending on their individual situations! Great question, I could make a video at some point about this as well!

      @@stayambitious thanks for that information! I’m just a little nervous about being able to pay for tuition. I’m reading about Grad Plus and just seeing that as an option puts my mind at ease!

    • @stayambitious
      @stayambitious 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@doinitlive3015 just seeing this! Yes, grad plus covers the cost of attendance. I haven’t heard of anyone that gets rejected from taking out the full loan amount, so if that’s something you’re worried about, don’t be!

    Sounds like you didn't apply to DO schools-can you chat about this?

    • @stayambitious
      @stayambitious 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I didn’t. I definitely thought about it, but I personally didn’t want to apply to a separate application system or pay anymore fees for extra schools. I am happy with my decision, but DO’s are equivalent to MD’s, so the decision someone decides to make does not make a difference! Do what you feel is best for you!

      @@stayambitious Thanks for the reply! I just took the MCAT today-now I gotta wait a month! I'll be happy to get a 500. I'm going to apply to MD and DO just to try and make sure I get in this round. Thanks for posting your journey!
