I think this kid's make a wish thing was to make his own quest in WoW and so he did the voice of Ahab Wheathoof and wrote the whole Kyle the Frenzied quest. Then, ya know... he passed away due to cancer O-O
My main was a Tauren warrior. I quit before Cata but still had >300 days played. This is where it all began. What I'd give to go back in time and be a clueless 14 year old wandering the plains of Mulgore...
I remember buying my first Mount at Level 40 in the Bloodhoof Village. I was so proud about my Mount that i took it on a ride all the Way back to Orgrimmar.
@@bine35 such glorious days. Sadly I was a warlock (free lvl 40 mount) so I never experienced those 'omg I don't have gold' days. And when I Iwas lvl 60 (or 70 for flying0 I turned into an experienced gold maker, with mining arcanite , thorium and some auction house trading so i could easily buy any mount later on.
World Of Warcraft, The medicine that has treated and still treats my depression to this day, from heartbreaks to loneliness, I would always come back to this game whenever I wanted a journey, meet new friends, have those long talks with someone I've never met before, yet feel so secure, Sitting in the most beautiful, relaxing places of Azeroth, telling eachother stories of their lives. And the soothing music comes in, rushing all the memories in. I'm a type of guy that loves to just speed through games, get it more action-packed, energetic and intense, but with World of Warcraft, there are just some zones where you just want to take your time, never miss a moment and take it all in.
I'd argue it doesn't treat loneliness, at least not like it used to (you got different standards when you're younger). Like in life in general, you don't truly get to choose who you'll meet (in WoW, starting from which server(s) you play on). There are many decent ppl but how do you know if you truly match with someone? Most of the time we don't even agree on how to play the game; some like endgame/raiding, some don't, some take their time leveling new alts (and have reached the account char limit because it hasn't been raised after all these years and the new options, like allied races) while others rush things with just a few chars and play them only, some enjoy PvP and others avoid it like the plague, some chat too much, others are silent, etc. Good thing I still enjoy long talks, some days especially. And real depression is about the world we live in, imo. If you're not saddened by it (for the right reasons, if possible) it can't be that bad. Interesting that you are the type who usually rushes to endgame but you like taking your time in WoW, tho...!
Started playing at the end of WotLK and I usually just rushed through zones, not reading any flavour text or anything, but with Classic, damn. It's just so much more atmospheric than retail, this is what an RPG is all about, taking in everything the game has to offer and basically transporting yourself into the game. The lore, the landscapes, creatures, everything combined just makes for an amazing experience.
Just came here for music and comments of joyful people, bringing so many memories back. God bless you all, all of this has made my evening even better.
No matter how many characters you make, it will always be the first Tauren that you leveled that will be the most memorable. This music reminds us of that journey.
I remember when I first started WoW over 12 years ago: a friend from Runescape said it was something I HAD to try. He was a Tauren warrior and said if I wanted to play with him, I had to be Horde. Reluctantly, I followed his lead. My friend was 40 levels higher than me and left me in the dust, so I had to learn my way around Azeroth on my own. My Tauren hunter, Padwann, was born (Padawan was taken! How dare they!). In the long run, I did not regret my decision to be part of the Horde (I dabbled as Alliance on other servers, shh). I met good people, tamed my first pet, Frostbite (a Mulgore wolf whom I never parted with), wandered far past the Barrens, completed and wiped instances, flew across battlefields and enchanted forests, tamed the Humar and King Bangalash, got my first Kodo and felt so accomplished, got rekt in PVP, and ultimately reached lv54 in the time of the Burning Crusade. No, I never maxed or raided, but my adventures in WoW have been unforgettable to this very day--so much so that I reminisce about those times as I'm at work. Great job on this playlist. Oh, and FOR THE HORDE!
And weird! I have a prairie stalker who I named Totem. I have never even stabled him. ALWAYS either out or by my side. Strongbull was/is my very first WoW toon. He was made in December of 2004, just after launch. Thank you all for making this game what it was, and continues to be. I'm a member of and we just passed our 13th year together, too. Don't let the new shit muddy up your time. You can still do all of this content, just not in the same way. Find a new guild, make days for raids,pvp,farming,etc...Don't let the monotony chip away at you, because there is too much to do.
Listening to this is 2023, when so much has changed in my life since first hearing this soundtrack. The world is a darker, harsher and more complex place than it was back then. But hearing this takes me back to that time and i can't hold back the emotion. Wow helped me with my depression, anxiety and loneliness. Without it i don't know that I'd be here today. One of the fun memories i have was questing in stonetalon mountains when i bumped into a couple orcs jumping around inside a hut so i asked them what they're doing. And they explained that the object in the hut looked like a giant pipe and that they were stoned off their head and laughing about it. They invited me to their party and we just chilled there for hours chatting and questing together. Afterwards we said our goodbyes and i never saw them again. Hope they're doing well
I remember when the trial was limited to 14 days and level 20 max[Burning Crusade and Lich King]. I used to go with friends 3 + me at level 3-5 and we would take the day from the elwyn forest /Stormwind towards Orgrimmar and Mulgore where we would attack the horde hahah. I specify that we did not have enough for the flight so we took the boat and it took us about 9hours to get there [we would die 1-10 times because we crossed mob lvl 10] haha beautiful time! I'll do it again when Burning Crusade Classic comes out ! :p
I haven’t been back to Mulgore until I recently did the Tauren heritage armor quest. Don’t think I’ve been there since early Wotlk before they changed the zone. Was cool to go back and see.
8:25 it is for me boys and girls.......we have a crybaby over here :''-( - 2008 start date - end date 2013. (hopped on every after expansion for 2 - 3 weeks) - Tauren Warrior "Jaksa" first char (had 7 max levels in CATA) - 120 days played on this character (total wow played around 300 days) - Server Shattered hand EU I am utterly sad but feeling joy when reading all your comments about these memories, and how it all helped us go trough dark places by calling this game HOME @Everness THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS AND HAVING US REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES WHERE MAGIC ACTUALLY EXISTED........ Best to all, Jaksa (Croatia)
It makes me smile seeing all races starting zones and nostalgia expressed in the comments. For me mine was a gnome rogue in Dun Morogh but I like reading other races starting zone comments and the flood of great memories as we all began our journey in WoW.
My very first memory of playing WoW was actually on a friends account, way back in 06 just before the release of BC. I made a Tauren Hunter because I loved Minotaurs, and my friend told me that Hunter was very easy for a new player to learn. I don't remember a whole lot, but I do remember questing all night until about 4 am when his mom came in the living room and was wondering why I was still up and told me to go to bed. My friend taught me to walk back as I was shooting to get more damage in before I had to melee. Then my questing lead me to Thunder Bluff and I loved the place right away. I saw another Hunter who had a Raptor pet and thought that was the coolest thing ever, and asked him how to get a pet. He told me I had to be level 10, and I wanted a pet so badly that I kept playing until I got one. I remember falling off of Thunder Bluff too and having to make the long run back to my body because I didn't know how to get back down. One of the last things I did was do a quest that had me to go an area with a bunch of aggressive Quillboars and dying a lot there until I finished what I had to do for the quest. Then finally, after playing all night and not hanging out with my friend, I hit level 10 and was finally able to tame my first pet. Which I thought was so cool, yet so lame at the same time because it was a Plainstrider. Unfortunately I wasn't able to play WoW again for quite a few years and my friend deleted my character, but I won't ever forget my first experience with the game.
I'm a Brazilian and I'm using Google Translate, besides this game changing my life my first character was a Tauren, I remember until today I always exploring the songs of mulgore :) Unfortunately my Notebook broke and I have not played for 9 months, but next month I'm going to buy a new one and return to this Universe;)
To think, I took my first steps outside that camp with Korock the Tauren Warrior and began a 12 year adventure that would change my life. Never thought I would still be playing wow but damn this is a cool game. Its had ups, its had downs but one thing is for certain, nothing captures the sense of adventure quite like it. *raises glass of ale* here's to more years of adventure and glory!
8:26 Plains Day 2 breaks my heart... i wish I could go back and experience this all again like it was new to me. 20:43 is another that gets me in the feels.
I am 22 years old now and have never played wow until half year ago. Me and my friends wanted to play some mmorpg so they introduced me to a private tbc wow server and wow in general. After some undead shenanigans with my friends i started a solo tauren character. Walking the vast mulgore plains in the evening, and just doing nothing but simple things like questing, fishing, herb collecting and talking to characters all while this soundtrack played filled my heart with much joy. It was and still is a magical experiance for me. It is a really strange feeling. I feel nostalgic even though i haven't played wow as kid. Llistening to this soundtrack makes me feel like i am in a homeland that once was mine. Like i am reimagining a lost memory that was mine years ago even though it never was. Makes me think how much i would love playing it if i was still a kid. What a great game. Vanilla wow stood the test of time and even in 2020 after all these years when compared to modern games i consider it one of the best videogames i ever played. A true masterpiece
This whole game (vanilla + BC) was so well crafted. Yeah, it was grindy but the world still felt alive with people and lots of different places to explore. The style of warcraft and WOW in particular is just timeless, the simplistic graphics and cartoony style just made the whole thing lovely to roam in.
I Just skipped to that time stamp, it really hit me in the feels. Over 10 years ago my Tauren hunter Beefybuns started his epic story in Mulgore, that account got hacked and he is gone forever R.I.P. but the memories will live on...
Tumppu, tauren warrior, 11.2.2005. Still around to this day and I think I will play through the "world shrink" coming. Even if it means basically losing a large part of him. This is still a ... character - I have been for the better part of 15 years. Nah, can't delete him. Won't. When warcraft as a world ends, I will let go. But not now. Not yet.
This brings back a warm memory I had here. I was an Alliance rogue fishing in Stonebull Lake for the 'Salty' title achievement. I fished with a few of my friends, 10 casts in my friend got it and flew off haha. My other friend went afk and D/C'd and so I left the group, turned on the game sounds and didn't regret it. I listened to this music for hours upon hours working on this achievement. I never got that fish, ended up catching some fish in Northrend for it. Thanks for the upload Everness!
The power of some of the zone music, especially these earlier more ambient focussed ones, is amazing. You can really feel it in the zones themselves, but a mini peek is when you see the comments on videos like this and how it still evokes certain vibes and emotions a decade + later. Here my fellow first character Taurens talk about their nostalgia in the zone with joy, positivity and pride. Then you go the Eversong one. The track hums with power in the background but there's a lot of people sounding forlorn or a little empty in it's comments.. Almost as if they are listening to music that is supposed to sound both magical, sad and melancholic to take them on the same sort of road emotionally that their blood elves would feel going through their semi corrupted woodland after losing so much. Granted it also seems fitting for belf players to be like that. XD As for me starting in mulgore was great. I was 12 and had come off the back of runescape. I picked a shaman named Runeclaw on Steamwheedle xD. Just being met with vast open planes once I left camp Narache was an amazing feeling and I couldn't wait to explore all of it. I'd just relax at the lake or camp too while eating my dinner, running in to some rpers was cool too. In general I also would just return and linger (tbh you had to spend longer in zones cos some quests and enemies were challenging but it was really engaging and added to immersion) and take in mulgore and Thunderbluff - still do that with zones even ones I revisit multiple times. I play Pandaren now and that explorative adventurer thing in me easily carried over.
@@Blackadder75 Totally agree. The original teams working on it really worked on it out of a passion. They really did breathe life in to the world and it's story. Even the earliest concept art has layers to it. Activision designs off of spreadsheets or something. :/
A lot has changed about world of warcraft over the years, and while the quests might have changed a bit, Mulgore will still always have that same charm it did for us. It warms my heart to know that so many new players will start their adventures in Mulgore. This is by far my favorite zone. The wide open plains, the city on the bluffs, even all the plainstriders! And of course, the music they added later to the zone only amplifies it. Gosh... The wow devs truly did something special all those years ago, didn't they?
mulgore 1 is the epitome of all of my memories from this game, and all of the emotions of my life during that time all rolled into one short track. Life was so simple back then. I may have a job and a life now, but I'll never be that same kid again wandering mulgore with wide eyed enthusiasm. Blizzard may not be the company they once were, but god, they slammed dunked this game on their first try.
oh my god. you have no idea how happy i am to come home after a long night of drinking, to this. you actually cannot imagine... i'm actually getting giddy, just thinking about how well i'm gonna sleep to this. hope Durotar comes soon. seriously, keep this stuff coming, i love it.
Thank you! No promises on Durotar. Fun fact: there are zero official art pieces for this zone anywhere on the internet. Will have to put a screenshot on the thumbnail like with Tanaris (which also has zero official artworks).
Please... Durotar is among one of the first areas players will discover upon entering the World of Warcraft, one of the many soundtracks and ambiance that brought us into this beautiful, massive, virtual world when we were all young, and immersed in fantasy based daydreams during school, or doodling dragons and knights on our school papers instead of taking notes or doing homework. Please bless us with Durotar.
Everness what about fanart? (with credit to the artist) i found some of Durotar... fav.me/d93dnak ; fav.me/d9w2ekp and this movie art/thing media.blizzard.com/wow/media/artwork/wow-cataclysm/cin-durotar-full.jpg
Thank you for the links! The last one is actually a still from Cataclysm cinematic, and I used it for Barrens (because that's Barrens and not Durotar). I will come up with something when the time comes.
I remember my first character back in Vanilla, a Tauren Hunter. Never forget, so much more fun back then to play…it’s quite sad really to think how the game became what it is
My 1st character war Tauren Druid... I didnt speak any english at all when I was little kiddo. WoW was exactly kind of game I dreamed of. I remember walking the path from the 1st town to the 2nd after reaching level six from all the initial quests. I was amazed by that area... Beautiful mountains, green grass, lake, river, area so vividly matches tauren character... Since I didnt speak any english at all, every quest was struggle. I "decyphered" names of locations from big quest logs (had no idea something like thotbot existed)... I was discovering the map, so I can read names of sub areas. I remember seeing some big mountains in the distance and on top of them...it looked like a city... but I didnt want to believe that the game could be so perfect. Every time I found quest NPC or a quest object, I was so happy so I can finish another quest, get that sweet green quest reward and big XP boost, though most of my XP was from killing monsters, since I didnt manage to finish many quests... I remember discovering dungeon in the mountains with those pesky gnolls or kobolds, making a wierd squeeking sound when they die (mee-mee-meeee)... I was looking forward for every even level to find out what new skills I will get from class trainer... Everyone was nice to each other... everyone /waved, /byed, /thanks, /lold... When the time came for me to advance in the game, I found out that there actually is a city on top of that mountain I saw in the distance... and its name is Thunder Bluff... I was such a fucking noob... but a very happy one. PS... At level 35 I found out I totaly missed bear form quest I should have done at level 10. Opsies
I always loved how peaceful and calm this area felt. Tauren was always my favorite race to play even though I could never afford to buy the game and just played a lot of the trial version. I wish I could go back in time and experience Mulgore for the first time again. Good memories :)
I miss those old days... when literally everyone played WoW. And school was fun because there were always someone that you could ask for help with something and plan raids with. I made so many friends both in game and real life. Man time change.. and i would do anything to just go back to that time
My first character in WoW was an orc. However, then I was playing with version 3.3.5. I really wanted to be like an orc on a kodo from Warcraft 3. And I earned a reputation with the taurens to buy a kodo. Passed through their starting quest chain. Spent a lot of time in Mulgore. One of the best soundtracks in this particular location.
Suddenly have an unexpected nostalgia pain to lstening this song when I woke up this morning. As a non-player of this game, I really really can feel the nostalgia, here. Thanks Wow.
My very first character was a human warrior way back around 2006. I deeply regret I didn't make a Tauren because I just don't have that same nostalgia for Mulgore as I do with Elywnn. But for what it's worth I've been maining a Tauren shaman for a few years and I do love Mulgore and choose to visit it when I can.
My first race in Wo, around 6 or 7 years ago was tauren. I used to love just walking around Mulgore, listening to this amazing soundtrack. Even at lvl 100 i still went back constantly for the memories. Thank you for the video, great work my man/girl.
I remember this specific time, when I was a Tauren druid. I went out exploring and leveling up from Thunder Bluff to Un'Goro Crater. First the peaceful Mulgore, then the open Barrens, the hostile Thousand Needles, the dry Tanaris, and finally the wild and untamed Un'Goro. I spent weeks, playing a little each day, finding new places, entering mysterious caves, crossing dangerous roads, killing and sometimes dying, gathering items, exploring wonderful and magical scenarios, listening to the wonderful and peaceful soundtrack. Getting wounded and healing. Running and attacking. Making decisions. Taking risks. By the time I got to Un'Goro I thought to myself "Wow, Dinosaurs! I've come a long way!" and I felt like I was conquering an unknown world. And if we come to thing of it, I was, indeed. A long way, a long time, a long journey. A magical journey.
My first character was a tauren druid too, i thought it was very insane to be a cat or bear hahaha. I didn't even know how to do the quest properly, good days
okay, that's it. im going to play again once I graduate college this week. my first character ever was a Tauren named Chicfila. I was nine, I think. oh, sweet memories.
This game has awesome dynamic music... I'll never forget climbing the hill next to the starting camp and looking over the whole mulgore as 15:28 starts playing..
Everytime I hear Plains Night 2 I feel nostalgic. Reminds of the very first night I played WOW. It's something that will stick with me for a very, very long time. My first character was a Tauren and I still play them to this very day. Absolutely love them. Had to get a shirt with their crest on it. I've leveled so many Tauren that I know Mulgore and Thunder Bluff like the back of my hand. I've even dreamt of them.
The seconds, the minutes, the hours , the days, weeks, months, years i´ve played in mulgore.....the real spirit is gone ...but, ty blizzard for that masterpiece
When I played this game for the first time in 2004 as a kid (I had to sign up using my dad's information since I was too young at that time and the game was intended for 15+ years old in Korea lol), I started as an Undead Warlock in Deathknell. The map was so dark and gloomy there, so when I finally had a chance to explore Mulgore in Kalimdor, I was so impressed by how beautiful and calming the whole environment was. I was basically wandering around Mulgore, sightseeing and appreciating the graphics of the game. As a huge Warcraft series fan, exploring around in this game was truly a dream come true.
They created something very big and unique.. See all the nostalgic comments and I could write one too. Not many storytellers and artist are able to create something so valuable for so many people that sits so deep in their heart. This was (and I only realize it now) more than just a game.. You won't forget it and it had a truly beautiful feeling to it.. Still after 18 years and (only) around 100 hours of gametime
Its amazing how this music is so well-written and perfect for the tauren as it almost tells their entire personality, their wisdom, tranquility and ancient incredible power coming from Earthmother herself, thank you Everness for relieving my first WoW jorney!
Just for the record, I prefer the still-shots. But I don't want to leave you thinking that I don't appreciate what you're doing. I've watched I think about half of your videos now, I listen to it while I study, and I'm already dreading the day I'll have run out of your videos. I love, love, love, love, love your videos and your work so much! This is infinitely appreciated. You are not only letting me listen to the music I love and help me connect with the game I love, but you've also given me amazing music to study to. Thank you so much!!!
Even though I play Alliance, this has got to be my favorite starting zone in classic wow. I love the theme and vibe of the place and the music is marvelous as usual.
I went back to play wow for a month, thank god I could not use the pc any longer! the game is totally addictive ... it's like a cursed treasure that you can only observe and not have, at least for me. LOL! Before unistalling the game I made sure that my character was lay down in a bed sheltered by fire and near a bar
I get just as excited when you post new WoW videos as I do when a new Game of Thrones episode is released. These have been everything to me the last six months when I've been studying or working on better daily habits like reading, writing, and journaling. Sometimes I'll catch myself feeling so relaxed and look up and just watch the video with the music (or ambience) for a minute or so and get really happy it's weird haha. I'm so glad you take the time to put these together they've helped me make it through some hard days or bring me back to peace. Thanks a lot Everness 😁❤️
I can't even begin to describe the beautiful nature of this music and the sweet nostalgia it brings, every expansion every server every player has a nostalgic story to tell of this beautiful zone and its music and the friends they met along the way. For me this reminds me of the first time I was ever introduced to the game at a friends house I created my Tauren character and just ran around the place taking in the scenery, I was always intrigued and scared seeing a skull player flying overhead! This music also reminds me of sweet Summers with friends who are gone now it's quite bittersweet
Nothing beats the serenity and calm power of a Tauren. Walking the plains of Mulgore and climbing the hill to reach Thunderbluff and see the main Totemic tower for the first time one is one of my fondest memories in gaming. It almost feels like I went there myself :')
I was 13 at the time when my uncle introduced me to WOW (14 years ago). One of my first toons was a Tauren, I can't even remember the class I think I may have been a shaman? I think I got into the barrens but I moved onto an Orc hunter Mokroar, who I would play for many years to come! great memories. After hearing this playlist I have set up my new Wow account and have begun playing a Tauren again, to complete the adventure I started all those years ago! Thanks for the playlists, it helps me focus at work and has introduced WOW back in my life, so happy classic wow is a thing!
Love this. The reason I dont play the Horde is that the Forsaken were forced into them. In Alliance the night elves are a bit forced too, but it does not bother that much.
Mulgore will always be my home in wow. (Technically my first character ever was an undead mage called "iwowedyourmom", but I only got him to level 2 before feeling scared as a child). When I first ever made a tauren, I knew it was the race for me. Laid back, peaceful, gentle but fierce when they need to be. I remember being a hunter and going on the great hunt, I remember farming my first gold from the harpies! (TOOK ME HOURS!!!) I remember not knowing that grey mobs would not give you XP ...(AFTER DAYS OF FARMING!!!) I love wow, I love the creators for making it too. This is just a slice of my overwall experience, I come back every few years and make a Tauren, reminds me of better days heh.
Cheers To More Experiences like our first time here !! Amazing World, Music and A place that enable us become to children when we visit it again. Relive the vibe , the nostalgia and our amazing experiences with friends or peaceful solitude
My very first character when I started playing at my sisters house was a tauren hunter. Didn't pay much attention to the music when I was 11 or 12. But now when I start a new Tauren, I instantly find the music really calming.
I legitimately remember staying at this spot 15:30 for a half hour and saying in my head "We must defend this spot! Don't let them get through!" Ahhh that was so fun
"Will you help me find my dog?"
Did you know that was a kid who died of cancer??
Yep :')
kid died of cancer? please do tell more
I think this kid's make a wish thing was to make his own quest in WoW and so he did the voice of Ahab Wheathoof and wrote the whole Kyle the Frenzied quest. Then, ya know... he passed away due to cancer O-O
Yes. Every time. I don’t have it in me to not help him out.
Ahhh, I've been expecting you.

Shit! I'm an idiot. Time to edit it...
Kevin Kostyk u can still experience it all in legion. Suramar has the best music theme ive heard since Vanilla. WoW is still superb.
Same...
redglazedeyez you can’t experience the game again if it’s not 4:9 😂
Ancestors, watch over you.
dude.... fk
First character is Tauren. Sweet nostalgia.
10/10 choise m8
Robyn Me too mate. Back in 2006...
same, first character on opening day. fond memories of how incredibly unstable the servers were lol
Back in 2004 bro.
Me too :-) Tauren Hunter
I remember buying my first Mount at Level 40 in the Bloodhoof Village. I was so proud about my Mount that i took it on a ride all the Way back to Orgrimmar.
and parked on top of a mail box
Same man, when gold was hard to come by on early levels, it was journey
Lol
@@birdygall2278 I couldn't afford mine till lvl 44, what a relief after questing in Arathi Highlands running everywhere lol

I'd argue it doesn't treat loneliness, at least not like it used to (you got different standards when you're younger). Like in life in general, you don't truly get to choose who you'll meet (in WoW, starting from which server(s) you play on). There are many decent ppl but how do you know if you truly match with someone? Good thing I still enjoy long talks, some days especially.
And real depression is about the world we live in, imo. If you're not saddened by it (for the right reasons, if possible) it can't be that bad.
Interesting that you are the type who usually rushes to endgame but you like taking your time in WoW, tho...!

God bless you for blessing us 184 times three
I remember when I first started WoW over 12 years ago: a friend from Runescape said it was something I HAD to try.
This game gave such memories, such a massive world.
I've did the exact same things! except for the levels and names, fuck man this game is rreally a hit in the feels.
If you have the original King Bang, he is extremely valuable. I have an OG elite that kept his damage pool. Really makes heads turn, too.
For The Earthmother
Started playing as a Tauren, stopped playing as a Tauren will forever be a Tauren.
Mooooooooooooooo
Hope they're doing well
The WoW community gave me depression, anxiety and loneliness.
Countless trial accounts dedicated to only playing as tauren
Just buy the thing.
Wait till classic, buy the base game (Not BFA) and play WoW the way it was supposed to be played. As part of a community.
Tauren 4 life
I remember when the trial was limited to 14 days and level 20 max[Burning Crusade and Lich King]. :p
Lmao, so it wasn't just me

I haven’t been back to Mulgore until I recently did the Tauren heritage armor quest. Don’t think I’ve been there since early Wotlk before they changed the zone. Was cool to go back and see.
Michael Beleut It’s still pretty peaceful and serene. Always been my favorite zone.
Dude I literally listen to this almost every night to go to sleep
Same, this and dalaran, and eversong woods
My time with Warcraft may be over. But this song, this place, will always be home for me. Just hope I don't miss it too much.
fingers crossed that classic fresh will be decent

- 120 days played on this character (total wow played around 300 days)
- Server Shattered hand EU
I am utterly sad but feeling joy when reading all your comments about these memories, and how it all helped us go trough dark places by calling this game HOME
@Everness THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS AND HAVING US REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES WHERE MAGIC ACTUALLY EXISTED........
Best to all, Jaksa (Croatia)
8:40 nothing more to say the best part
thank you
I came because of that, thank you
@AshteroidAU Possibly Barrens, too. I could be wrong.
On the official soundtrack, the part is from the track "Thousand Needles". Always remind me of the burial grounds in far Northeast Mulgure tho.
Y E S that's the music of my home
It makes me smile seeing all races starting zones and nostalgia expressed in the comments. For me mine was a gnome rogue in Dun Morogh but I like reading other races starting zone comments and the flood of great memories as we all began our journey in WoW.
Cool perspective!
Get out of here you snow-dwelling-gizmo-lover. /s
15:30 love that part the most.
This is why i came here for, thank you
I have a native american flute(the instrument used in this song), to bad there's no tutorial on how to play this :(
This is it. This is the sound I craved to find. Thank ya.
It's 2004 all over again. The only Horde race I ever played. Thanks for the nostalgia, Everness!
I like to think that my Tauren Hunter is still out there somewhere, in the pixel afterlife
Thanks for sharing :).
This was such a heartwarming cute story. I kinda can see it before me.
I'm a Brazilian and I'm using Google Translate, besides this game changing my life my first character was a Tauren, I remember until today I always exploring the songs of mulgore :)
Unfortunately my Notebook broke and I have not played for 9 months, but next month I'm going to buy a new one and return to this Universe;)
I'm sorry you had to return to Beta for Azeroth. Such a poor time to be a wow fan. :(

Mulgore 2 hit my soul
I once made a tauren character just to chill in Mulgore and listen to this beautiful music.
This whole game (vanilla + BC) was so well crafted. Yeah, it was grindy but the world still felt alive with people and lots of different places to explore. The style of warcraft and WOW in particular is just timeless, the simplistic graphics and cartoony style just made the whole thing lovely to roam in.
7:04.... gives me chills every time.
IKR :)
I was looking just for this moment
I Just skipped to that time stamp, it really hit me in the feels. Over 10 years ago my Tauren hunter Beefybuns started his epic story in Mulgore, that account got hacked and he is gone forever R.I.P. but the memories will live on...

First character, 2006, Tauren hunter. Different times man
Tumppu, tauren warrior, 11.2.2005. Still around to this day and I think I will play through the "world shrink" coming. Even if it means basically losing a large part of him. This is still a ... character - I have been for the better part of 15 years. Nah, can't delete him. Won't. When warcraft as a world ends, I will let go. But not now. Not yet.
@@tumppu1975 I feel you. Haven't played since 2013 but still feel like my characters are a part of me. Put so much of me into them.
XD
As for me starting in mulgore was great.
Blizzard from ca. 1995 to 2008 was the best game studio in history. Sadly, they got sold out by greedy big corp.
Tauren hunter was my main when I began in TBC. This is pure nostalgia, nothing makes me more relaxed in terms of music.
mulgore 1 is the epitome of all of my memories from this game, and all of the emotions of my life during that time all rolled into one short track. Life was so simple back then. I may have a job and a life now, but I'll never be that same kid again wandering mulgore with wide eyed enthusiasm.
Blizzard may not be the company they once were, but god, they slammed dunked this game on their first try.
So many nights spent running around Mulgore when not many people were awake - really takes me back.
oh my god. you have no idea how happy i am to come home after a long night of drinking, to this. you actually cannot imagine...
i'm actually getting giddy, just thinking about how well i'm gonna sleep to this.
hope Durotar comes soon.
seriously, keep this stuff coming, i love it.

Thank you for the links! The last one is actually a still from Cataclysm cinematic, and I used it for Barrens (because that's Barrens and not Durotar). I will come up with something when the time comes.
Going out and drinking with friends at the weekend, then coming home to play WoW until the early hours was the absolute best. Zero regrets.
Opsies
"Walk with the Earthmother."
Have been fighting for Azeroth as a Tauren Druid since 2004, this brings back a lot of fond memories, thank you for uploading this.
....back when life was simple. Right in my heart!
Thanks Wow.
This is a very relaxing music compilation and I love it.
Mulgore is such a beautiful gem 👌 absolutely adore the zone, the scenery and the atmosphere
Tauren druid in vanilla is peak WoW for me. Great times can't wait to do it in hardcore and SoD.
Damn, I really love this music.
The musicians behind every Wow music are damn good. They really made the game too.
My memories. I remember tears in my eyes 🥲
I've even dreamt of them.
love the night sky at midnight here
I like the old skies found in azeroth too. While far less detailed they are dynamic and look wonderful around sunrise and sunset.

Before unistalling the game I made sure that my character was lay down in a bed sheltered by fire and near a bar
I wonder where my old characters are, can you by any chance look them up cause I remember some of their names and stuff but the game is long deleted.
The real mystery is how you managed to capture this video without somebody enveloping the NPCs in their big-ass dragon mount every five seconds.
Probably it's some private empty server
I get just as excited when you post new WoW videos as I do when a new Game of Thrones episode is released. These have been everything to me the last six months when I've been studying or working on better daily habits like reading, writing, and journaling. Sometimes I'll catch myself feeling so relaxed and look up and just watch the video with the music (or ambience) for a minute or so and get really happy it's weird haha. I'm so glad you take the time to put these together they've helped me make it through some hard days or bring me back to peace. Thanks a lot Everness 😁❤️
Wow, that's a great message! Thank you! I'm glad I could be of use.
I remember my first "greetings, traveler." I was hooked
The starting track always makes me cry so hard..
Probably the beginner race I enjoyed the most. There was just something soothing and magical about the tauren and their culture.
I remember playing WoW when it released. My 14 year old self thinking this game is literally infinitely big with an unlimited number of quests.
One of the best zones in the game, up there with Nagrand.
Definitely
"I have just the thing for you".
Nothing beats the serenity and calm power of a Tauren. Walking the plains of Mulgore and climbing the hill to reach Thunderbluff and see the main Totemic tower for the first time one is one of my fondest memories in gaming. It almost feels like I went there myself :')
As much as I love classic era Mulgore, post Cata Mulgore will always be the best, simply for the amazing music.
I miss the old game, this was the best game in my life and no one can beat this experince :/
I leveled a Tauren monk last summer(2019), before Classic came out. Was very relaxing, always loved Mulgore, probably my favorite starting zone.
(TOOK ME HOURS!!!) I remember not knowing that grey mobs would not give you XP ...(AFTER DAYS OF FARMING!!!)
I love wow, I love the creators for making it too. This is just a slice of my overwall experience, I come back every few years and make a Tauren, reminds me of better days heh.
Winds be at your back.
Cheers To More Experiences like our first time here !! Amazing World, Music and A place that enable us become to children when we visit it again. Relive the vibe , the nostalgia and our amazing experiences with friends or peaceful solitude
