In the post-credits scene of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, it struck me that when she got shot, there's a possibility the bullet might have been contaminated with the new serum they used on the walker in The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon s1 e5. It makes me wonder if she didn't have that runner variant before she was shot. It's an interesting theory worth considering.
Yeah, but the problem is the WB scene happens 2/3 years before Daryl's show, and apparently there doesn't seem to be natural zombie runners
Was thinking that too but I don't know if the time lines match up. Plus this serum seemed to turn regular walkers into like a dangeroud weapon so maybe they're trying to weaponise them somehow?
Well originally he was intending the boat trip to be just a 3 hour tour.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip! It started in a port in Maine, aboard this cargo ship.
The crewman was a scientist, the captain was paid well, the cargo was some walkers bound on this floating Hell!
The zombies started getting rough, the cargo ship was hit, with mutiny and explosive fire, the Captain said "Oh fudge!"
Then onward through the smoke and fire, amidst their greatest peril, the situation grew bleaker still, and all because of Daryl!
Then Daryl, he went overboard, and floated to Marseilles! You want crazy co-incidence? Well Daryl is your guy!
He found a nun, and then a gun, and made them both his own, but somehow he got tangled up with a baddie named Codron!
A bunch of people died, you know, to make that fateful trip. Ol' Codron's bro... the zombie priest... and then a bunch of nuns!
Thje pigeon guy, and then Azlan, too and now the zombies run!
No phone, no lights, no motorcar, not a single luxury! Just Daryl and this creepy kid! It's dangerous as can be!

Dwight would be cool, maybe he’d tag along with Carol or go looking for Carol and Daryl after they both don’t come back. But I believe it’s Morgan, he said he was gonna go back to Alexandria to find Rick then go looking for him if he wasn’t there, I think Morgan shows up in The Ones Who Live in the last episode.

Were all the smart walkers in The Walking Dead season 1 and 2 considred variant walkers like Morgan's wife? I understand Frank Darabont was showrunner at the time and wanted Night of the living dead type of zombies?
It could be Morgan who came back because when the last episode of mid season 8, he said he was going to go look for his ol pal Rick Grimes. If not Morgan, it could be Dwight. MAYBE Heath! I will guess who it could be in order. Mostly likely, Morgan, second, 2nd Dwight, 3rd Heath.

They are together it seems and along with June they return to Sanctuary - but it seems they then go back to PADRE
I thought Daryl caused the explosion but it was just extra, no mutiny.. the captian lied

Man that was the best wd episode in 15 seasons. Was that more than one hour? No way they crammed all that in 55 mins.

Well, I'm officially done with my CRM theories. 20 hours of World Beyond I'll never get back. Lance's secret alliance,Destination 2, and many other easter eggs. Daryl is out looking for Rick gets taken on a ship with Variant Walker's coming from America and again its NOT the CRM!!?? Don't get me wrong I am loving the Daryl Dixon show very much but this back story was kind of lame. I'm just frustrated of seeing what should be obvious connections turn out to be false. I will not type the letters CRM till I actually see those three circle logo again, I have a notebook full of possible CRM connections from the whole universe but I just lit it on fire LOL

For all intents and purposes, CRM doesn't and never existed. World Beyond is just a fan fiction
When they showed Rick standing near the shore and the helicopter was over him his shirt had the symbol of CRM
Carol has an in to the series now. Last known location of DD, and she's already had experience at sea.
There wouldn't be too many trans-atlantic ports of call. And with some investigation, the port Daryl is heading towards in France, should be easy to suss out for a season 2, or 3, appearance of an old friend or two.
That last minute satellite phone call was a lifeline. We know Carol has the best chances/contacts of finding DD. If DD was ever meant to be found. Europe could be his final destination.
Oh. I miss the old days when some people actually thought this would never be explained.

@nevyanplamenov5409 who said there was no way back? The ship Genet's group got up and running had been going back and forth between America and France. Daryl's just trying to get to the port in norther France
@@Nate4445We don't know if the people at that camp knew the French would return or not, or what would happen to Daryl and the other dude on that ship. What i mean is that it was a huge overkill of a punishment for a little fistfight, at most they should've just not receive their gas or get kicked out of the camp

So glad we got this explanation and it was well written. Do you think the serum that they're injecting the walkers with is a way to try to weaponsise them instead of trying to find a cure? Damn, when that walker went for Daryl after taking out the other guy it changed my mind - fast zombies don't suck!
Is was cool to have Carol back and I think it really did like she was about to say Rick but that is wishingful thinking. But ya never know!

what caused the boat explosion?
Daryl let loose the walkers that attacked the crew - one went into the "experiment container" and started a fire and let loose that crazy fast walker that attacked Daryl. Then, because of the fire something ignited.

he drifted there - after jumping ship. And that was the bad guys ship. He heard of a way to go home on a good guys boat - so he had to make a journey to there.

You are correct - he had been doing that. But he was captured by some thugs and put into a cage on a ship - by the time he broke out they were past the tip of Spain.

he was trading work for gas - and the dudes said at the start a few rules - one being no fighting.

Because Durl can do anything. He's invincible. He also became the most overrated character in the TWD universe. I still wish that Negan would've killed Durl and Glenn instead of Abraham and Glenn.
