We are lucky to be a part of Pakistan's generation who has decided that enough is enough and are raising our voices in whatever way we can. Institutions as well as political parties are now scared of us. We must keep spreading awareness, that's the least we can do for our motherland.
But the generation itself is directionless, raising voices but don't know where to go as a country. No vision , no ideology just impressed with the west and certain nations. Overall nothing to be proud of but alot which should worry us

Goosebumps! One of the most mind-blowing political discussion ever. So deep it all is, literally. I wished the interview keeps going on forever. Allow me to say that Sheikh Rashid himself is a universe of Pakistani politics. The way he showed his loyalty and love towards Imran Khan is just adorable.
Sheikh is trying to play gullible which he is clearly not. He is fox just trying to save his skin. “India ki tarraki mein pak rukawat hai”… how? India doesn’t give rats ass about pak anymore. India is progressing way faster than Sheikh realise. His politics only hurts common pakistanis. Unfortunately people like him set the tone for pak politics. @@kubssharma Don't be overnationalist. This is the reality that Pakistan is a threat to India since birth. India had to spend a lot of money on military only because of Pakistan. India had to spend much in Kashmir also to avoid separatism. Also Pakistan is in way of Indian trade towards Central Asia. So if Pakistan and India would have good relations just like France and Britain or like US and Canada, India would have been an Asian superpower.

@@kubssharma You don't know Pakistan more than its locals. Pakistanis are more conservatives than nationalists. There are sizeable number of people who don't want to bound themselves in modern nation system. They can't digest nation system and democracy and don't want Pakistan as a state but want a khilafat. To balance them, army always need to intervene by putting touts to reduce their influence and let not the conservatives hold the government. Also West don't want that to happen. I still stand by my comment that Pakistan is a headache to India. Pakistan is like a Leach to India and West are smart. They will never let Pakistan to collapse for three basic reasons:
1- They need Pakistan to balance out the effects of Afghanistan.
2- They need Pakistan to counter India as India has potential to challenge their hegemony. After fall of China, India would be their next target and for that they need Pakistan.
3- Pakistan has nuclear weapons and fall of Pakistani state will make whole world vulnerable as hardliners and organizations like ISIS etc will took over the country and its nucleur weapons.
For India, fall of Pakistani state is more dangerous than the powerful Pakistani state.

we are sinking dude, we all need to wake up and build courage to overthrow the mafia goons who control our establishment using crony laws dating back to the colonial era to subdue us with fear so that we sell our souls for a tin of ghee to cast a vote.
People, we can do this, we can save the ship, Pakistani's in Pakistan and around the world can collectively pay off our debts and rebuild our economy, we need a strong army to fend off the Bullys on either side and a stong leader to shut up the international Bullys.

This is a Fantastic program. I am an 80 yr old man and have been waiting all my life for such a person to come and provide us with such an insightful manner of talking and probing the issues that are current amongst the people of Pakistan. The style of questioning, the words, the tone of the voice, the depth of the subject matters chosen. Knowing and being a judge of FACES. Ahad appears to be a fantastic serious human being.
I would DARE to make one suggestion- in addition to the Political people- it would be great if you talked with Engineers, Physicians-( and surgeons)- Lawyers, Writers, Poets etc to enrich us.

Why do we insist on on the fauj being the all mighty, the untouchable and the ultimate decision makers on everything even though it's NOT thier job, training or competency??
Isn't the fauj's over reach and immunity of accountability of the wrong or right decisions they make, the REAL PROBLEM?
The politics in Pakistan has never been pure from the interference either internally or externally.
It's a fact whoever really want to do something is in books or in graves.
Every country's agencies are involved in their politics in one way or the other, if you think its not the case, you are just deluded and don't know how the world operates. Democracy, by definition, isn't in function anywhere in the world, its just a hoax. Pakistani awam thinks democracy is a reality lol. Better come out of this delusion and understand how the world works. International establishment is a thing too? Why is it untouchable and no one counter it? Why international establishment interfere in some countries and support brutality of others in Palestine and in kashmir? Why people like you don't question Int establishment with the same passion? Or are you simply unaware and go with the trend?

It should be betterment of the people & growth of country.
You need to dig deeper, in your north Chinese are progressing without democracy, Russians are standing up again and with teeth without western democracy, your friend turkey has become a force recently and It has a presidential system of democracy (not the corrupt system people like you support) Iran is surviving and still strong despite massive sanctions and it doesn't have democracy too. They are your immediate neighbours lie in the east and not the west. That just proves supporting democracy as a holy cow is nothing but silly and shows lack of understanding on our awams and so called desi intellectuals part.
And not only that, system only assist the general trend and attitude of the nation. System can't turn things around, Iranians and Turkish have nationalism they love their country and their history. Same goes for China and even Bangladesh (they have bengali nationalism) and in our country nationalism is discouraged and we are forced to live with division and cry for democracy. We need to understand exactly what helps nation progress its not democracy. Need to change our thinking. Sooner we understand the better otherwise there's no future. Keep crying and keep Idolising the west, Americans and the Europeans and that without finding a contexts you and your generation will have no future.

The best podcast interview I have seen. Sheikh rasheed is indeed a legend, we really don't know what Allah has taken work from him. He is a true Islamic Jihadi and hats off to TCM team. Best time to interview key personality of IK government to understand what went wrong, maybe include army personnel.
