This is a great video! Could you also elaborate just a little more on the Googliness round? (without divulging any company secrets obviously) Also, all the rounds were problem-solving based? No OS, DBMS etc.? Were you already told that you will be asked only coding questions from before?
Yes. The recruiter told me beforehand that all the rounds will be problem-solving based only. No OS, DBMS question, in fact no design round. Coming to the Googliness round, questions were mostly hypothetical situation based like if you're given this role for this product how're suppose to handle - something like this. They mostly look for two things - what is your thought process while handling different situations and how do you work on daily basis ( example: prefer verbal communication or written, communicate freely or not etc ).
This was indeed a insightful video. You talk about the phone screening round that many video just didn't explain to depth, Also interview rounds after 3 DSA rounds like Googleyness and Manager Matching and hiring committee. There was lot of useful information, how google is strict about it's value and that one we should look into and how hiring committee has power to reject / select you
Hey Prateek. Sure. I'll surely make one such video. But as you've interview coming up soon, let's connect over Linkedin and I'll try to help as much as I can.
You told you asked 2-2.5 weeks for prep for phone screen round and then 3 weeks for on-site interview. Is it easy to get so much time after each round for prep? Or it depends on recruiter?
How did the call come suddenly to you bro? Did u attend any coding contests or had any projects ....how can they suddenly call you ? There tha to be something that they have seen to call you
The video was valuable Rishab, I would like to know more about your preparation, how did you prepare yourself for any product based company's interview.
I am an upcoming intern at google, I just want to know whether google no longer takes any conversion interviews to give a return back offer. (read this on reddit do not have a strong proof)
Hello Rishab, Thank you so much for the above video. Is it possible to give some tips I also have my first onscreen round after a month and I am feeling so nervous regarding that. Is there any specific DSA topic they focus on like arrays, trees or it can be anything...
Hey Simran. It's hard to tell important topics for any interview in general. But in my case, I was asked questions from strings, dp, graph and hashing. So, these are the topics you can focus on. All the best :)
Thank you alot bhaiya for that. Uh are reallly proving over the needy thin to get a chance to get in the Google. Could Uh please tell me That which types of qustion would be asked in Interview?
Thanks rishabh. Can you please make video explaining if there were different rounds within technical rounds like system design? Or technical questions related to technology you are aware of . For ex. I'm front end developer so questions on js , etc. Thanks
Hi Santosh. Google usually takes only problem solving rounds for L3 / L4 positions. So, the questions are mainly ds-algo based and not touching upon tech stack expertise.
Thank you so much dada....can you also tell us your preparation strategy plsss?...and how much weightage the Projects and internships have for selecting into Google?...Or dada there is no preject discussion round in the whole interview process?...plsss answer.....And dada I am from a tier 3 college...I also want to go to Google...my third year will start in a few days...I am currently focusing on my DSA...what else I need to do?...if you plss guide dada
Hi Sambuddha. I'll make a separate video on my preparation strategy. Coming to other questions for yours, projects and internships will help you to get your resume shortlisted, but during the interview process, there's no project discussion round as such. As you're about to start 3rd year, keep practicing DSA and simultaneously build some projects if you don't have already and then try to get an internship at any start-up/ Institution / MNC. I hope your Google dream becomes reality soon :)
@@careerwithrishab Thank you sooo much dada for your reply and good wishes!...dada can I message you on insta if I have some questions or confusions?...pls dada I think your guidance can help me a lottt!!
A Techie's Dream, Bhaiya can you kindly mention how you got your resume shortlisted... I mean did you have previous experience...It would be of immense help Bhaiya. Thank you 🙏👍
It depends on the position you're applying for. Relevant projects / internship / work experience to get interview opportunity and good knowledge of DSA to get selected.

Hey. For me mainly my work experience at Flipkart and LinkedIn profile helped me standout. That’s the feedback I got then from the recruiter.
