I always learn something from the podcast, but the last four episodes on the book of Revelation have been the most enlightening! I do not love the book of revelation, it has always been too cryptic for me, and the source of too much superstition. Thanks to Dr Blythe and Dr Frederick for shedding some light! 💡 The verse by verse approach is very helpful. Now I only hope to remember everything to teach my kids!!
Here in the Hebrides, sheep are more common than people! Lambs of horned breeds often do have incipient horns themselves. In other words, they look harmless compared with the fully-horned adult. (Compare a Hebridean lamb with a fully-grown, four-horned ram.) I read Revelation 13:11 as an illustration of how harmless Satan's deceptions and those who embrace his philosophies can appear.
21:56 At the time marker 21:56 you three are discussing the mark of the beast. I found your thoughts very helpful to my understanding. Especially when John talks about the frontlets and Dr. Christopher talks about others making a mark on their foreheads to remember their gods. I wanted to add some of my thoughts. I believe there are many symbols that that John the Revelatory wants us to understand. Here is one that I think it represents. First point is there are 3 in the Godhead. There are three sixes and the adversary attempts to replace the Godhead. Second point is that God created man on the sixth day. Then He rested. We are to rest and have a sabbath to worship God. Satan would hope that we forget the 7th day (the sabbath of the Hebrews) and that the week is only 6 days. As far as buying and selling is concerned, look how we have forgotten God when you see the mall parking lot on Sunday. Also with this in mind, think of what happens in the first 6 seals and how wasted the earth would be without the 7th seal.
Isn't it possible that these two witnesses are indeed Elijah and Moses or John the Revelator? These men have not yet died, are great prophets, have great power from God, and missions to fulfill in the latter-days. I'm not sure we should count them out. What a beautiful thing, in a way, for John's mission to finally be fulfilled as that last martyr you were speaking of before great and terrible destructions come and Christ returns to save the Jewish people.

When looking through the lens of polarity it's easy to see Christ and Satan are the main polar opposites, Yin and Yang, positive and negative. The 144000 and those with the mark of the beast also seem like paired opposites, both have marks on their foreheads and both have chosen a side. We also have the 2 prophets calling down fire from heaven, and we also have an Antichrist figure calling fire down from heaven. All of these, except the Antichrist figure, are considered literal, why not the Antichrist figure?
I’m wondering where the statement from Elder Holland that John used about the final outcome already being known can be found. I’ve tried to find it but can’t. I want to use it but want to be able to reference it. Love, love, love learning from such amazing minds through this podcast!

There is absolutely no question as to who wins because the victory has already been posted on the scoreboard. The only really strange thing in all of this is that we are still down here on the field trying to decide which team’s jersey we want to wear" (Jeffrey R.
