I am 77 years old and I am building a 1997 jeep tj for overlanding. I have the budget and the place to build it and live and an understanding wife. Sometimes she says to me, It's time for you to go camping for awhile LOL. My problem is how much time do I have left to live this dream? My advice to you is to go and go now. Liquidate! The world will still be here when you want to come back. Your videos are some of the best and I spend alot of time on TH-cam.

Change your routine, learn some new skills, connect with other people, and keep telling your story, and you'll break out of this rut. Thanks for telling your story. Subbed.
Honestly, I’m pretty much in the same boat. Sitting at home, staring at my Jeep and just feeling trapped in my current situation. I want nothing more than to just go out and drive in my jeep to anywhere else other than my job and home. But due to current circumstances and lack of funding, I have to work in my current dead end job just to be able to afford living and hopefully get to fix the remaining issues with my jeep. After that, I’ll save up some money and just wander around for a bit, like I wanted to do so many years ago, when I brought my first Wrangler after watching IamJake in 2017 and 2018. I hope the both of us will find a way to do these things so that we’ll find some sense of joy and accomplishment in our lives again. Keep it up, and best of luck.
It's been a super tough time for my mental state for the last year or so as well. A lot of the things you mention and thoughts/feelings you have resonate with me 100%. I've been trying to chase down a mechanical issue with my Jeep (JKUR, lol) for like 8 months now and it's basically kept me off the trails for that whole time. It's literally making me go crazy that I don't have my "therapy" vehicle working, don't have the money to just pay a professional to fix it, and don't have the income that allows me enough extra money/time to really tackle the issue in a timely manner. I feel like I'm stuck in rut and can't move. I just sit here bummed that I can't seem to escape. Anyway, I'm happy to see you back to uploading, I really need to get on that train myself to bring my channel back to life one of these days
