I agree! I see now reason to not use a jointed body for a figure when the joints are covered up. I will try to replace the bodies at some of these figures at some point when I get the time and money for it.
I thought the Governor would die in the third season. I am so frustrated that he is still alive, but I don't know where he is. He killed many of his people except for two of his lieutenants (perhaps that's a good word). I just watched the episode where Andrea kills herself. I was SO hoping she would make it. Dog gone it!!! I love this character you are reviewing, Carol, and I sure hope she doesn't die. I am so attached to Rick, Daryl, Carol, Maggie, and Hershel. I can't believe I NEVER watched this show before. Again, I can't thank you enough for doing this reviews. I just Carol was dressed in pants and a tank top and that her hair was more spiky like in Season Three. After seeing so many of these figures, I figured I would check out the show. I will be starting season hopefully later this week!!! 🙂You have a great one today!!! ❤
Oh… You’ve seen nothing yet LOL. This show is a real emotional rollercoaster, I’ll tell you that much! I was angry. I even cried a few times during the show too, and Im supposed to be «a man» and all that crap. You will get attached to the characters in this show no matter if you want to or not. The creator (Robert Kirkman) of the comics, that the show is based on, have said that the story isn’t about the zombies, but the humans. And if younthink about it, real life isn’t really all that far from what you see in this show. Some people are simply just evil buttholes that only thinks about that «number 1», namely themselfs. Other than those zombies real life isn’t all that much different from what you see in the show. Im really hoping that Threezero isn’t done with these 1/6th scale TWD figures yet. Its been a long time since there has been any new announcements though. I was really hoping to get more characters from seson 1, and also Hershel. He always seemed to be such a nice old man in the show.
I can't figure out which one to get . . . a figure from Three Zero or a head sculpt from Cat Toys. I guess I'll be making a decision soon. I don't think either head is as dead a ringer as Daryl Dixon or Rick Grimes. Sigh. I wish someone would have done her with spikey hair. I didn't recognize who she was at first. Now I think I know who she is. I am really enjoying the show now. I can't believe I never was curious about the show before. It was your figures that prompted me to watch it. I can't believe how long they've been on really. That's a long run for a series. 🙂She must transition to a strong character is my guess if she is the person I think she is. I've only seen three shows so far. 🙂I love the revolver especially albeit it looks like it takes a lot of work for the cylinder to come out.
Yes, Carol goes through some serious changes through the show. She is actually one of my favorite TWD characters. The show has 11 sesons from what I can gather, and there are some spinoff shows too, but I haven’t seen any of those, though Im a bit curious about the «Fear Of The Walking Dead» show. So far I’ve bought the 6 first sesons of TWD on BluRay and Im looking for the last 5. Some of these 1/6th scale weapons have some movable parts that are really hard to move LOL. Its okey though because I rather want the parts to stay in place that to discover some day that something has fallen off and went on some trip somewhere LOL.

I really like this character in the show. I hope she survives for the series. I am detesting some of the people who are getting killed. I know people have to die, but you do get emotionally attached to some of them. I hated to see the sister of Andrea die. Moving into the third season now. I can't believe I never watched this show before. I'm so addicted now. 🙂
Yes, this show will hit you hard emotionally some times, thats for sure. The show is really good in my opinion, but when you get attached to a character and that character for some reson dies, thes you just can’t help getting a little angry LOL. There was this one death in the show that I still to this date haven’t forgiven, even though I know its a fictional show and the actor that did the killing just did what the script said. And to this date I just can’t walk past the 1/6th scale figure representation of the character without saying some bad words to it LOL.

I think this is a later season. I went for a totally different look . . . probably more impressionistic and not real to the series though. Still, almost done with her. Yeah, she didn’t go far and stayed away for too long 😅 I think this figure is from one of the earlier sesons actually. I think her boyfriend cut off her hair by force in the first or second seson or something. I could be wrong though because it is quite some time since I watched the show now.
I am hoping Carol doesn't become callous. I just saw an episode where she killed a couple of sick people she was afraid would turn. I hope she begins to feel something again. I love how her character has become strong, I just don't like that she is beginning to become numb to killing. Sigh. 😞
Yeah. Carol goes through some huge changes through the show. In my opinion she is one of the more realistic thinking ones. I meen… The world is in a very bad situation and the old ways have to be put aside and people have to think different when it comes to their survival. Some very sad choises have to be made, but in a zombie apocalypse things are what they are. It isn’t very far from how the real world works either. If you’re too kind then eventually others will take advantage of it at in the end it may be the end of you. So what are you going to do then? You will have to change to survive.
I never watched the walking dead, but I think I might get some of these figures, although that revolver was a handful and the articulation is a bit weak (especially as you pointed out with the joints). Articulation always seem to be the biggest issue I am finding in figures no matter who makes them. :-( Thank you for the great review!!! I will may consider getting. I don't like the knee pads, but that's just me. You're right. As you said, "You shouldn't have to consider a body swap." Good point!!! Sometimes you pay a ton, and you are still considering using a different body. That's so very very wrong. Thanks for showing this one!!! 🙂 Thumbs up!!!
These The Walking Dead figures from Threezero is a great example of why rubber sleeves are a bad thing on a figure. This especially goes for the female figures due to them being more slender. On the other hand these TWD figures from Threezero are very cheap compared to many other brands. The ones I’ve bought from Big Bad Toy Store I got for about $150, but now I see that the price has gone up to about $180. But the head sculpts are usually good, and so is the tailoring on the costumes. The bodies are a little on the cheaper side but okey enough. You usually get the right amount of hands to use the accessories the figures come with too, and for the most part you can fit all the accessories on the figures. The hands you don’t use goes without saying back in the box, since people obviously only have two hands LOL. Thats the good thing about the Threezero TWD figures. You don’t pay for a whole bunch of accessories you end up storing in a box. With all this said. I don’t have this weak elbow problem with all of the TWD figures. Just some of the female characters so far. I could have just swapped out the bodies I have this issue with for some hard plastic bodies since the joints are covered by clothes anyway. But as I’ve said before, I like the TBLeague bodies better. I’ve recently discovered that TBLeague plans to release some african-american female bodies soon, so there is hope for swapping out Michonnes body too now. We’ll see how that turns out in the future.

The AK looks awesome. Is it real wood or high-quality painted plastic?
The AK is all painted plastic, which is perfectly fine. Makes it lightweight and better for the figure when posing it.
