Hy, I kinda confused. Is it possible to apply work permit before I've a job offer from Canada? Because when I open in job bank there's a statement like this : "Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application" What does that means? Do I need to have already a work permit before I submit the CV? Please someone help and advice 🙏
One important thing to note. I went to a private college in BC and got a Diploma through a 3 year program. I thought I was eligible for the PGWP, HOWEVER there is a hidden list of participating education institutions and my school was not one of them...

However they are not going to supply a LMIA number. My job is covered under the global talent stream, however I only have the experience (10+ years, and a 4 year apprenticeship), but I do not have a degree, which the employer is completely ok with, as I have demonstrated my skill set and they are very pleased with it. I really think that is extremely dependent on a lot of things; why you are in Canada for 2 years, what country you are from, how old you are, if you have dependants, how much savings (bank balance) you have. I dont believe it is a universally accepted criteria.
