This is the second video in a series from Quantum Gravity Research, each episode focusing on a different scientist, their origins and backgrounds, where their love of science started and how they came to work at QGR.
Ahmed Farag Ali received his PhD in theoretical physics from University of Lethbridge, Canada. His research focused on quantum gravity models with particular interests in open problems in Black Holes, Cosmology, Quantum Gravity Phenomenology . He published more than 60 papers in peer reviewed journals. His most known works includes the minimal length theories in quantum gravity. Ahmed’s research has been highlighted in many media platforms such as Nature, scientific American and Phys.org. He also wrote several articles for Scientific American-Arabic edition.

MINUTE 3:07. - "I was having a deep intuition that reality is some kind of a simulation. I have some kind of personal experience about this." To me, this indicates exactly the type of person who is best suited to work in this area of research. Why? Two reasons as follows.
One, he has access to his intuitive facility unlike many academics whose left-hemisphere is too dominant. Two, he has passion based on personal experience. A great guy! Check out the following from Esquire Magazine. The connection can't be missed.
From Esquire Magazine, December 2013 Edition
Chaz Ebert, wife of film critic, Roger Ebert, on her husband's realization of life's simulation in the last few days of his life:
«The one thing people might be surprised about-Roger said that he didn't know if he could believe in God. He had his doubts. But toward the end, something really interesting happened. That week before Roger passed away, I would see him and he would talk about having visited this other place.
I thought he was hallucinating. I thought they were giving him too much medication. But the day before he passed away, he wrote me a note: "This is all an elaborate hoax." I asked him, "What's a hoax?" And he was talking about this world, this place. He said it was all an illusion. I thought he was just confused. But he was not confused.
He wasn't visiting heaven, not the way we think of heaven. He described it as a vastness that you can't even imagine. It was a place where the past, present, and future were happening all at once.»

This is the kind of scientist we need. A scientist who meditates and draws on his intuition and own experiences. It’s so refreshing to hear. Good luck Ahmed....looking forward to see your work as it progresses.

In the quantum world there is statistical behavior of say one particle.
When that one particle is macro-ed to many we don't see anything strange
anymore. Is this because the particles are fixed to E8 rules rather
than being just a bunch of particles.

..try fold our universe/multiverse to a infinitely small point of energy by equation 5D=0D "ouroboros" where everything start and end in
dimensionless emptiness which interact only with itself. The emptiness interaction is a energy. Clue: the space inside the black hole is as large as our universe and 26 space dimensions are sprawling inside the limits of equation.
