It's not specifically a tip for supports but generally when playing as something else than tanks I don't expect to be healed at all. Especially as a flanker I tend to lean towards a self-sufficient playstyle and treat healing as a nice surprise of course I'm always trying to retreat to the healer when I'm in trouble but I'm aware that it's not exactly easy to heal someone who is in the enemy backline for the most of the game.
My rule for healing is called the "three year old mentality". Basically, if i have no line of sight on them, they don't exist. They die, too bad. If you want a drink, stay near the fountain.

such a great video that covers the basic of being a good/decent support player. tbh the hardest part of being a support player is learning to position yourself especially at chokeholds. depending on where your tank position himself, you might need to take different angles because it is not easy to ask your tank to retreat a bit in the middle of a fight. the most annoying part is definitely teammates that doesn't know how to retreat or give me Line of Sight when they are low. Keep up the good work and i hope you can produce a Vatu video just like how you did Vora because that video makes playing vora that much fun
3:56 Until they start using caps and blaming you for not healing despite you healing, the enemy having cauts, and them being tank not waiting for damage. Omg I heal ahead of time all the time!! My main goal as a support is to sustain my teammates through a fight so that they can win and/or heal them when they retreat so they can get back in it

This is a good indication for you to get the maximum value out of your heals. 💚💛. Hope this will help.

The most tragic things about being a support Rei - Linking to a dying tank and ulting but you link to an enemy istead. Mal'Damba - You throw a gourd to a dying teammate and then it bouces

Bhai still waiting for your Vatu video :"( & a ques u put furia & damba at the top tier.but How furia is even a Good healer at this patch she is clearly nerfed out the most, any tips about furia?
I was a main support in Paladins and It's very fun, I don't get why people don't like to play Support. I had Jenos/Ying at Level +80, Seris/Furia +60, Damba +50, Corvus/Grover/IO +40, Ghrok +30 and Pip like level 10😅 (I don't like him) and man I really wanted to play Rei but I don't have a PC anymore. My 3 tips are: 1) Actually heal your teammates, not only the tank 2) do damage, you're not just a healer you are a SUPPORT 3) Have fun Playing them, u can pick damage talents If u want to, telling it to Your teammates before picking would be enough to have a great match. Also, you can have very good healing stats even with damage talents If you play them properly, but that comes with the experience, don't throw sh*t to the support If they don't pick the talent you wanted to
One of the best ways to heal yourself and teammates is to wash off the cauterize. For example, a Barik is getting focused and decides to put up a sheild, when do you heal the Barik? The answer is obviously when he puts up a sheild but remeber to wait until the cauterize is washed off, THEN heal him. Another example is if a Zhin is retreating. As a heal and tank main when I tank I always tell my supports dont focus me, I play as if I dont have a healer but if I do actually get healed I consider it fluke and wont happen again lol
I think the tips are totally fine but people have to understand the limit of the character they actually playing: for example I have a zhin in team vs andro/lian with Grover....the zhin don't have to feed them and spamming "need healing" because he die without heals in a 3 vs 1 situation..."that's called GAME SENSE". Instead of pushing like Rambo, you can actually play with your off tank and then receive a heal from your support and kill someone. It's not hard to understand that zhin, or any other flank without vertical mobility, have to be played a little bit safer, and wait your off tank in the meantime and then PUSHING.... 2 vs 2 is better then a 1 vs 3, even 2 vs 3 is better.
Bad positioning is not the main reason support players are getting flamed the most, people just tend to blame their frustration of dying on the support, because theoretically they have the tools to save them, even if it is their own or the off tanks fault.

I only complain about heals when I've wiped the enemy team and the healer is still spamming heals on the tank when he's missing 200 health, while I'm touching the healer without consent asking for heals, then they type, I can't heal you when you're at the enemy spawn?? gets me so annoyed

Yeah, I don't chase people anymore. You want to go too deep (that's what she said), that's on you.
I’m a flank heal, stun Domba. They should learn some self Sustain
I like green numbers
you forgot khan and raum in that tier list
6:50 "WORM!" >:( "Window" :)
I knew Io sux but why is Pip bottom tier?
I mean, some people use healers to go damage and when your literally in need of a bit of assistance they just ignore, that’s why I always go full healing and 0 damage lol
Same
I only complain about heals when I've wiped the enemy team and the healer is still spamming heals on the tank when he's missing 200 health, while I'm touching the healer without consent asking for heals, then they type, I can't heal you when you're at the enemy spawn?? gets me so annoyed
Hi
didnt knw you guys still play paladins
most of my friends left .. guess I'm the only one around that still playing but the bright side is .. they still come around to help me whenever I'm working on a video ❤️❤️
USEFUL AS FUCK!

Remember as the support you are the eyes and ears of your team
