What about the load factor on terrace ? As you've used lot of concrete and other weight material including soil. I thing concrete pots can be replaced with grow bags
Your terrace garden is too good ....you have great ideas of space utilization .....can you please let me know how much it all costs .for making such blocks
When I plant into big container u must cut the roots which are made in circle and all other roots except mother root so that it could get new roots to cm and grow der in container else it will be very hard for plants to grow if u r planting on earth der is no problem
Good video... Inspiring too... One suggestion... Please use curd buckets which come with better grade of plastic (available in 20 litre capacity too) instead of paint and fevicol buckets which are toxic. You can also get these used curd buckets from catering people for a better price
Hi. Just went through ur video. Superb, cool n amazingly explained. Me too garden crazy , have made mistakes n keep learning. Have recently started terrace garden, with roses n hybiscus flowers plants. N also now started few vegetables plants too. Thanks
Hi . Amazing work . We have a whole rain water harvesting setup where all the rain water from the terrace goes down through pipes and then into the UG sump after filatration. It's a small terrace . So when we have plants set up the way you have , does the mud / sand from any of these pots come out when it rains ? either through splashing out or through the drain holes at the bottom ?
Best source is the local nursery, online soil is very expensive. Check with local nurseries in Bangalore we get one full bag (15 kgs) soil+Cocopeat+ vermicompost mixture for 150 ₹

Before repotting plants, you should crack the garden soil which is came with that plant..you'll get nice result its my own experience

Where you get this grafted plant bro and you get in Bangalore or what bro. can you tell me.🙏
Please dont cut the plastics of the plant bought from nursery. You can always reuse plastics for seedlings. This will help reduce usage of plastic.

I am building house it will be useful to me
But this is too much weight on terrace. Also you used concrete pots.
It can't harm the terrace because we put water tank on terrace which has lot of weight thus we put pots which has comparatively less weight than them.
We can overcome additional loads on slab by increasing slab load bearing capacity.
Bit what about costing ? There are other substitutes to decrees load on terrace ss well as pocket

You are using higher part of the nursery soil resulting less growth in the pot as they minimize the growth of the plants for longer storage purposes.

Just cover the holes with larger with stones. No need of a bed of stones like he did. Stone bed causes water logging and roots begin to rot
