D-Wave is using annealing. Which is a different kind of technology. Until universal quantum gate is ready , we can only use annealing as we dont have alternative choice (other than classical computing). Which this mean in the next few years, many ultra large corporations will look into D-Wave annealing to optimize their products and services quietly to maintain competitive advantage. Forsee D-wave will have a lots of orders this year onward.
