That was a great scene. Nobody expected it after their commitment to always preserving life but they had no choice seeing as they were pinned down.

This should be called "Thunderbird Drip" because damn the costumes in this are peak.
Everyone who watched Thunderbirds Are Go (the 1966 movie) will recognise a few familiar faces. The president of the New World Aircraft Corporation previously appeared as the assembly controller at Glenn Field airbase where Zero-X was launched, one of Captain Foster's henchmen, Carter, looks exactly like Zero-X captain Paul Travers, and Cliff Richard Jr can be seen sitting on the table behind Lady Penelope, although he is wearing thick glasses and a mustache as a disguise so we won't be able to easily recognise him.

41:48 I know the article was obviously fake to trick Penelope into saying that last bit of the phony message. But I wonder how Skyship One receives actual newspapers while cruising around the world. Unless that's something else Brains invented on the ship that could print up to date newspapers. Hence how the baddies were able to include the false article.

Perhaps more accurate to say the Big Rat sounds like the Gravity Compensation Machine. Joe 90 was made and released after Thunderbirds 6. 😉

What does FAB mean
Some say it stood for Fully Audible or Acknowledged Broadcast but others say this is nonsense and it just meant message received and understood but FAB sounded cooler. Hope this helps !

The only jokes that are more Benny are:
Benny being chased by a dozen scantily-clad women while "Yakety Sax" plays, Benny slapping the Little Old Man on top of his bald head, and Benny watering the lawn in profile with a hose held at waist height behind him.
Poor old Parker -- his chauffeur's outfit commented upon, laughed at over Alan's prank with no farewell drink, forced to cling desperately to a biplane's undercarriage, face blackened by smoke, unceremoniously dumped in a tree, falls headfirst to the ground, no follow up to see if he's alright. Humiliations galore! One feels a bit sorry for Brains too...
Don't forget almost being kidnapped by a camel.

Never seen this movie before and I have been watching Thunderbirds for 50 years!
Last June, I attended a 45th anniversary screening of The Muppet Movie and a lady next to me says she remembers watching the show back in the 70's but had never seen the movie.
This is better than anything on Netflix
Never saw the movie until today. As a kid loved the series and courageous International rescue team.
Every Saturday morning at 06:30, watching reruns for years.
On what channel?
By far, the best thunderbirds video ever. Great special effects.
This is actually what got me into classic Thunderbirds
This program is the reason I got into building models. 50yr later still building and watching.
I can't tell you how much I used to love this t v show back when I was a kid in the sixties
I'm 70, Gerry & Sylvia Anderson were awesome! Loved Stingray as well.
THE THUNDER BIRDS WERE A VERY CLEVER PUPPET SHOW AND THE PUPPITS WERE ON STRINGS attached TO A MAN OR A WOMAN AND THEY WERE TALKING TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO WERE TALKING TO ABOUT INTERNATIONAL RESCUE AND THEY WERE LIVING ON AN ISLAND AND A SPACE SHIP CAME OUT OF THE GROUND ON THIS ISLAND AND THEN IT WENT INTO SPACE TO RESCUE A PUPPET IN SPACE AND THE PUPPITS DID 😁
It’s astonishing that they could make these so well ! Really amazing.
They took my imagination at the time now I looking back and realising that Thunder Birds was a huge work of art!

Nice little plug for Esso Petroleum Products in there, and quite subtly implemented. I'm not so sure that the Esso tiger really gave you better performance, or that it actually gave you more power, but for those of us old enough to remember the famous slogan "Esso, Put a Tiger in Your Tank" the Esso tiger was part of our childhood in the '60s.
What a stroke of genius eh? Building a missile base right in the middle of the Orfordness radio transmitter site! Well, it sort of gave the illusion of Orfordness at any rate!
Poor Parker, bumskids along the motorway - just like a dog with worms! Then faceplants out of a tree. I bet he spent a few weeks in the local [dolls] hospital, eh?!
The irony is that the perfect rescue vehicle would have in fact been a smaller hover/airship that can get close to a burning building and provide a stable platform that wont disrupt unstable structures.
Far better than any of the pixar drivel.
This show always reminded me of the old tv show "bonanza" with rockets!😅

pre CGI . I like the rolling landscapes with the aircraft models flying above, must have been a huge set.
also like the blend of real biplane footage edited with model flying and background footage.
sadly the Slough trading estate building is now gone.
I do like the first Thunderbirds movie but not too sure about the second movie because there not much rescuing except for the International Rescue team and what's worst during the film scene Alan said to Captain Foster that Marriages are out of the Question which mean that Alan and Tintin will never be married someday💖.
I mean come on this so unfair on Alan and Tintin because they deserved each other and so do Scot, John, Virgil, Gordon, Brian and Lady Penelope too when they meet someone and fall in love too. Beside the legacy of International Rescue must continue on to the next generation like the Power Rangers for example.

Start is a bit creepy with the laughter but it has a more British feel to this compared to Thunderbirds Are Go.

I loved that show when I was a kid although it was already a rerun back then...
It had everything : Action, intrigue, science fiction and some humor too...
It sometimes reminded me of the Bond universe of the 1960's but toned down for younger audiences...

Grew up in the 90s and revisiting this series, the artistic direction, the set and model design, it's a gorgeous combination and it works so so well.
Time may have passed, but the charm remains and I hope people check it out for years to come.
Thunderbird Shadow in THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO was much better that that Thunderbird 6 because it had more versatility.
The Mole makes a better Thunderbird 6 for me.
Having had a ride in a real Tiger Moth I beg to disagree.

The onboard fusion reactors and hypersonic capabilities of the Thunderbirds are their main appeal. Nobody else has managed to replicate them, and the anti-grav tech is still immature.

Ernest "Plugg" Shutt (born February 14th, 1947) worked as a puppet operator on Thunderbirds. He later worked as a sculptor on Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Joe 90, and The Secret Service.

On the other film "Thunderbirds Are GO" it happened, and consensus was "copyright" on the music during credits.

There's a book called Danger Zone by Joan Marie Verba that's unfourtantly out of print, but it has Alan as the main focus and at the end Alan and Tin Tin get engaged. I don't know if it's really considered canon but I'm saying it is.
