We visited the BEST VILLAGE CRICKET GROUND in the world!

- Lynton and Lynmouth Cricket Club play at one of the most incredible cricket grounds in the world. Situated in in the centre of The Valley of Rocks, between two giant tors, with sweeping views down to the sea, the pavilion nestles neatly amidst the trees at the foot of one hillside and is of traditional stone construction, and most importantly, their teas are heavenly.
We visited the club in the summer of 2019 to film Episode 2 of our 'Beautiful Cricket Grounds' series. We will be travelling around the UK filming more episodes, so leave a comment below and let us know which ground we should visit next!

Man I wish I played here(check out the photos of the HPCA stadium here in India as well. On top of the Himalayas and an absolute beauty ) Instead, we have to play in the noisy city of Delhi. Just hate cities man. And for a city boy who has never lived in a village ever, this says a lot.

This video is amazing!! I walked through the Valley of the Rocks above this cricket ground yesterday with my dog,Otto, on the hottest day of the year (so far!). This is such a fabulous, sensitive and authentic recording of the setting and beauty of the ground. One for my memory bank and to look back on through the years ahead. Well done!!
