Thanks for the folks calling it out but Capote CANNOT stop Zoro like I mentioned in the video. I misread and didn’t notice his 6cost restriction. Ignore my very dumb moment there. With that said I would probably cut two Capote and try something like Ragnarok instead. Doesn’t stop Zoro but allows to to KO stuff like Moria, 8cost Sabo, 8cost Kid, etc.
I think ultimately the problem with this deck is it plays too many easily removable units. Since you can ramp pretty aggressively with Foxy character cards, I think 8C Douglass Bullet could be a good addition to the deck, that’ll help you finish games, while also enabling a lot of your other cards that require you to have less Don than your opponent. The 2C event that rests a character is also pretty solid, I recommend running that as well. Glad to see you represent this deck though, I hope you keep playing it a little bit more!
Because they can make it active again by paying 2 Don, and still can attack twice with Zoro. It’s likely the better play was to stun the Zoro anyways and force them to use the 2 don, that way they only have two Zoro attack and 1 Cavendish attack but I still think I just die regardless.
You were talking about the 9c zoro in bonney? Capote can only stop a 6c or less from attacking. Thoughts both on 9c kaido as a finisher as this deck really lacks one and 5c ragnarok to remove bigger bodies on board?
You know what? You’re absolutely right about Capote not being able to stop Zoro. Idk what I keep forgetting that restriction. Good call out. 9cost Kaido doesn’t feel good. It’s too much don minus. But Ragnarok does sound very interesting. Didn’t think about it. Would definitely help a lot against the Black matchups specifically.
@@SirturmundOPCG after a few more games I've had to agree on the statement on kaido, the Don minus is really hard, 9c big mom from set 8 will help in this slot! Have you tried 7c kid? I actually found it to be really helpful! The extra 1k on leader is good if you don't have your foxy set up and it also helps as a strong attacker too.
@@SirturmundOPCG so 7c kid is a bit of a bust in the end, was primarily using to buff leader vs rp law.....unfortunately that match up feels almost impossible. I tried 5c magellan and it works great vs black and yellow, taking them off curve for geko moria, yamato/ace etc. My list was 4 bon clay 3 magellan 4 5c kid 4 reiju 4 kamazo 4 itomimizu 4 sanji 4 Gina 4 chopper 4 pickles 4 foxy 4 porche 3 ragnarok

Felt like I was better off locking opponent down and if I’m playing Kaido I’m not able to also do leader ability. If I do both I go too far down in don value even if I have 7cost Foxy to ramp back up.

I've been waiting for this one. I love Foxy, dude's hilarious, so I'm definitely playing this deck!

@@supercalleja1 I did not try 7cost Kid no! That does sound interesting. Let me know how it goes for you.

The event to swing twice with a foxy character is really useful too
