Hi Guys well what a find those Renaults are more rare then rocking horse poo! That has to be saved and brought back to its full glory. A few of the other cars need saving as well but what a job to get them out of that jungle.Great commentary Colin as usual, hope you have a great trip to Scotland and look forward to what you film there for us.Take care.😀
Hi Colin. The red and white CB 900 F2C Bol'Dor was a treat. I picked one up along time ago from a chap who was sadly unable to finish the project due to ill health. I managed to get it on the road and years later when listed on ebay it turns out it had been linked to a family on the isle of man. The guy came next day to pick it up. Just go to show that old vehicles regardless of age and condition hold a special place in everyone's life at some point. Pleasure to watch your uploads as allways!!
Up until around seven years ago there was a E30 M3 on the drive where the Volvo is parked !! Had been there for years , he was living in the house and a far as I know still is !
Astonishing find. Amazed this collector had such a car. Even an RS 2000 not really that special. Just a mass produced Ford. You saw loads of them in the day. Only collectable now because everyone got rid of them. Other miscellaneous rubbish and then the Turbo 2. Different ball game. Well worth saving. I read the other day the most expensive Ford the RS 200 rally car. A guy up the road from me had one. Did rallycross in it. These sort of cars are legends. Great find.
A quick look at Turbo 2's for sale £90k plus so you could pay £30k as it is spend £50k restoring it and still make a tidy profit of £10k plus ... That bumper is off a Mk1 Mini prob the estate
It was definitely well the wait to see that last car even though it’s in the shape that it’s in I would love to see that thing completely finished and in prime condition.
I've been past that place today, a few of the cars on the front have slowly disappeared over the years a MK1 Escort estate & a Volvo Amazon was two i remember
15.45 that's a Kensitas card you got from cigarettes packs back in around the 60's 70's once you saved up 1,000's of them, you would take them to a shop a bit like argo's. i remember my mum getting camping stuff for when we went camping
Had a Citroen ax 1 litre, loved it, the boot lids were plastic, and would move around a bit as the temperature changed, on really hot days I could get the boot to open if I hit certain roundabout near me hard enough! I think they were galvanised, hence no rust on that one.
Le bas du coffre en plastique est fixé à la vitre et la vitre au toit . Si la vitre casse , les vérins d'ouverture poussent le bas du coffre et le casse 👎.
My sisters partner rebuilt an escort rs from scratch showed it at Sherborne car show with photos of all the stages from beginning to end and sold it for 25 grand, beautiful car x
I was driving home one day through the worst estate in town near a row of garages, next thing I seen a turbo 2 so I pulled over I said to the fella where's that been he said in one of them garages for 30 years, honestly it was like brand new completely original easily worth a 100 bags..
It would be worth speaking to Steve Price at John Price Rallying (Hereford) about the Renault Turbo. You will be hounded with idiots if it goes on a regular sales site.
I’ve had this location down for a little while, I suppose this is what I get for not visiting sooner; shame it’s being cleared. Let’s hope all of the cars aren’t just getting scrapped
The other Renault 5 is a standard 5TX with standard steering wheel just the centre missing, or it’s an end of range Renault 5 Flair. They were only available in Red, Blue or White. A roof spoiler at the rear would give that away. The bumper is a mark 1 mini bumper and those cards were cigarette coupons! The 5 Turbo 2 isn’t a group B car at all. It’s just the homologation car made for road use. The rally car would have a roll cage, different seats and no carpet at all and a different front bumper with spotlights built into it. But, spares are available in France for the road car so it could be rebuilt.
Definitely seen this on YT before but this is a better look around. Old secret spots ! True tho loads of them bits would be missing if anyone knew where this was
Hi Colin, hope your doing good. I thought that white car was a Peugeot. I loved the video. So sorry I couldn't donate this week. Stay safe and take care.
Wow some good stuff in there house and grounds will probably be flattened for a new house as looks like a lot off space shame about the cars hopefully some get saved
I had a mk5 Cortina, mini, Renault 5(Le car) and the little AX with a plastic boot. One day the sun got it that hot the back window just exploded on it own. I was like “wtf” I thought a hitman was out to get me!! lol
The 5TX is quite a rare model in itself, wheels and steering wheel are std. IIRC, the model numbers were L, TL, GTL, TS, TX, Gordini, Gordini Turbo. TX being the extra equipment. Plush edition with gordini 1.4 engine
The steering wheel of the Renault 5 TX is original, it is the same one used in the Renault 9/11 Turbo but with slight modifications close to the center of the steering wheel in the latter mentioned.
Hi mate I film car videos and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction for this location as I have looked everywhere and asked people and not got back to me please and thanks for your time
Was it a genuine one or a home made special using a R5 shell? I think the cheapest these got to in the U.K. was around £12k-£15k around 2001/2002. A lot were used in competition as rally cars / hill climb etc maybe it got damaged and parked up then forgotten about - a great barn find to see !
Yes was way before group B 1981 or close (otherwise would have been 4wd) but it did get rallied under group B regs/homologated. An amazing little car when new and even more so now:
Sad to say but atlest some of the things got stolen atlest they are getting a second chance instead of returning to the ground who ever owns it now doesn't deserve it 😔
Awesome find!! Not every day you see a Group B Legend left in a shed!
Très rare la renault 5 TX ! version limitée avec équipements spécifiques ! 👏👏👏
Top of the range, my dad had a 30tx as a company car back in 1981. 2.7injection, leather, it was very nice
Hi Collin. There’s always something so fascinating about old cars being taken over by nature. I love seeing these old cars, thanks for the video x
Wow what a find, would love to see that fully restored. Need someone like Car SOS to do it. 😉

I think bumper is off a 1964 Morris Mini-Minor Traveller.
It was definitely well the wait to see that last car even though it’s in the shape that it’s in I would love to see that thing completely finished and in prime condition.
Citroen AX 1.5D was my 1st car.. Best car ever

That Renault car 🚗 is a Renault can be saved and can be driven again, with the right owner and the right Driver. 😀☝️
I remember watching the Renault 5 Turbo 2's racing at Donington Park in 1984
Had a Citroen ax 1 litre, loved it, the boot lids were plastic, and would move around a bit as the temperature changed, on really hot days I could get the boot to open if I hit certain roundabout near me hard enough! I think they were galvanised, hence no rust on that one.
Le bas du coffre en plastique est fixé à la vitre et la vitre au toit . Si la vitre casse , les vérins d'ouverture poussent le bas du coffre et le casse 👎.
Thumbs up for the r5s
My sisters partner rebuilt an escort rs from scratch showed it at Sherborne car show with photos of all the stages from beginning to end and sold it for 25 grand, beautiful car x
That poor Turbo 2!!
Your right it’s a mini bumper with over riders
Kensitas cigarette cards, remember them from my youth !
Great video watch this Saturday the 6th of July 24th
Another nice video, it’s a shame the turbo being stuck in a old shed, should be saved. You had a nice car Colin. 😂
Them old kensitas coupons bring back old memories u could trade them for goods out the kensitas catalougue
I was driving home one day through the worst estate in town near a row of garages, next thing I seen a turbo 2 so I pulled over I said to the fella where's that been he said in one of them garages for 30 years, honestly it was like brand new completely original easily worth a 100 bags..
Ich gehe kaputt!!!! Thank you for this video. CheeRS Klaus from Düsseldorf
I had a Renault 11 TXE Electronic in the early 90's
Love the video it was amazing love the turbo 2 I got a 1.18 dicast model car in the same colour as the turbo 2 lovey you find a rare car
It would be worth speaking to Steve Price at John Price Rallying (Hereford) about the Renault Turbo. You will be hounded with idiots if it goes on a regular sales site.

@17.13, yes a Mini bumper earlier MK1 & 2 type
That is not a Renault 5 turbo…..that is a CRIME SCENE I can’t believe someone has let that thing get to that state…..the horror the horror……
Great find. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just checked the DVLA site Colin and the tax was due in 1986 on that cortina so gives you some idea of how long it's been there for!

The TX was also available in black :)
Sat there since end Jan 86
This is how dreams start,
Definitely seen this on YT before but this is a better look around. Old secret spots ! True tho loads of them bits would be missing if anyone knew where this was
Cool cars Colin pity the rs2000 got nicked would have been cool to see that too 👍
Yes mate it is from a mini.
A mate of mine had a Renault 5 Turbo, years ago, but it wasn't a 2.
Hiya Colin-love all your videos but I especially enjoy the car find ones. Thankyou.
Some car manufacturers used a zinc coating on the metal panels to prevent rust and corrosion.
Hi Colin, hope your doing good.
I thought that white car was a Peugeot.
I loved the video. So sorry I couldn't donate this week.

Et aussi la très rare LS .
That poor cortina only had six years before she was dumped there
The steering wheel of the Renault 5 TX is original, it is the same one used in the Renault 9/11 Turbo but with slight modifications close to the center of the steering wheel in the latter mentioned.
Drive past this often as live 10 mins away!

💯 genuine and it’s being saved 😁
@@TheBeardedExplorergreat news a very special car
My mate would love that turbo2 he specialises in these and alpine GTA think he's currently working on a MK1 raider
The parts for the Renault 5 turbo are probably buried under all the crap!!
The ford courtina was last tax in 1986 the owneeship change was in 1985
Grey r5 is a TX. Original steering wheel for that particular model...
Original paint with most of its panels missing. 😆
The motorbike is a Honda CB 1100 R. That is also very rare, made as a homologation model for racing. Tell the bloke I'll give him £100 for it.
Best car there cortina
Hello from france Renault 5 turbo 2 .. 100000€/150000€
not that one

Oui une fois restauré @@shabbos-goy9407

Hoarders save the past for the future yet get judged whilst doing it !!!
Is that a un1 gear box in turbo 2
Renault 5gt turbo 2 is it an alpine

@16.00 cigarette coupons
Probably enough there to buy you a nice coffin
La moto Honda est a vendre ?
18 mins of looking at junk until we got to the car
I left messages through the postbox for years with my phone number, in the late 90s to the early 2000’s and heard nothing 😢
That ain't a gt turbo that's the super cool standard rear engine turbo one from the 60s and 70s a bit before group b was invented
R 5 turbo2. Which Engine evo Cevenne. 180/220 cv …
The R5 Turbo was never a Group B rally car, it pre-dated them.
Still worth a fortune in good condition tho.
Yes was way before group B 1981 or close (otherwise would have been 4wd) but it did get rallied under group B regs/homologated. An amazing little car when new and even more so now:
1979 ford cortina such a shame
If the owner is looking for a good home for the Ax let me know! It can come join our clan!
the steering wheel is off a ren 11 turbo
Is it not a 6r4? Not a Renault 5 turbo
What are your plans for this car?)
Sad to say but atlest some of the things got stolen atlest they are getting a second chance instead of returning to the ground who ever owns it now doesn't deserve it 😔
Lovely car what a waste
Sorry to burst your bubble but groupB rally cars didn't have sunroofs
there's real R5 turbo2s with sunroofs, just that they were dealer fitted and not factory. Crap thing to put on any car to be honest 🤣
Wo ist das bitte Gruppe B?
Das ist ein ganz normaler R5 mit Mittelmotor.....
18 min blablabla....
Thats not a group b rally car its the road version the actual rally car is a very different monster and worth 20 times the money
👍👍👍👍👍🫵🪨 That first car I had a van and a car exactly the same color. Not that you care. I just thought I put it out there lol.
