Just fyi: don’t make the water this high when bathing your dog. You don’t even need water for the dog to stand in, you just need to rinse it off, shampoo and rinse off again. And if you for whatever reason do need standing water, then sou only need a little bit. The dog needs to be able to stand

I agree the bath water is really deep. However a little bit of water becomes filled with soap, so not good for rinsing. More water dilutes the soap
