WAHAJ ALI yet again stole the show ! Particularly loved Sonia and Rumi's scene. Also love the fact that Wahaj has tried to speak Bengali as authentically as possible without making it caricaturish. It is tough to portray a character whom you are not familiar with but Wahaj has picked up the accent and mannerism beautifully. BRILLIANT !

Watching this drama, makes me feel proud of Wahaj Ali, for he has gotten so much fame in the last year, and still he chose to do this show, he could simply be doing same old characters and keep on enjoying the fame he has, but the honesty and passion in him keeps on driving him to do characters OUT OF THE BOX, something challenging, hard, time consuming, watching him act with so much dedication, speaking Bengali with such fluency, his each and every dialogue, his talking eyes, you will never find a trace of Wahaj Ali, it's just Rumi. So kudos to him for taking up this role and making it such a treat to watch :)

Actually, the actor playing Shil (spelling?) does the most authentic accent. Very fine performance. It's a riveting drama, and a bold one. I look forward to every episode. It's engaging as well. Makes me want to read up the history.
If you read entire bangaldeshi history you will realise how they were treated badly by pakistan...read about operation searchlight, rajakars, al badr etc. To know the operations that they did on bengalis...and bengali voice for freedom started much before and after years of torture by pak.

Such a well done drama, acting, direction, cinematography etc top notch. It needs more promotion and audience, more likes.....very underrated. Wahaj Ali is brilliant, he gives his all. He has shown his versatility by taking different roles and proved that he can do a light hearted character and an intense one with full conviction. Have always been his fan and is always a treat to watch him. I feel Wahaj has a lot to give as an actor and he can be molded into any character. Maya ali is also doing well, so good to see her not as a damsel in distress. Talha Chahour is definitely a bright one, he is not only performing superbly but has all the makings of a star. He had a small role but he has amazed me and a brilliant acting. Haissam Hussain is doing very well and his direction is unique. The light and dark of this drama depicts the Renaissance paintings. This drama is one of the best. The script is great, Im not sure how true the story is but the acting is amazing of all the actors, especially Wahaj Ali....If this were a debut drama serial of Wahaj Ali I would have thought he is Bengali....hats off to him...doing justice to the character....Reminded me of the days when these Muktee bheyanee started killing Pakistanis in Dacca, they would go into each house searching for them and without hesitation kill the whole family....I saw blood everywhere, people running for life, children and infants were also killed...burned their houses...People were running to the airport to take flights back to West Pakistan...It was a massacre.....Alhamdulilah we could get a flight to West Pakistan....Today when I go to Bangladesh, I feel sorry for the people. Watching this drama serial brought back all the memories...which are not pleasant.

First of all due to this drama I came to know more about the 1971 Bangladesh incident. I loved Sonia's character, she is straight forward and brave. Most importantly she is doing her bit for Humanity. Wahaj Ali again amazed everyone with his acting skills, his character Rumi is little complexed still he managed to show his emotions very well. Talha also did a good job as Captain Farukh
It was never meant to work. We were attacked from day-1. Even Jinnah tried to force a language on us. We were never given the chance to govern the country despite being the majority. Yes you can say it was the rulers and powerhouses that messed it up and the people were brothers. Wont disagree with that but whatever and whoever is to be blamed it happened. And before the series goes all propaganda again on how the genocide wasnt real. My dad lost his uncle for nothing. My maternal grandfather was taken to the firing range despite being a 65war veteran. The genocide was real. My ancestors died for this.

This drama is one of the best. The script is great, Im not sure how true the story is but the acting is amazing of all the actors, especially Wahaj Ali....If this were a debut drama serial of Wahaj Ali I would have thought he is Bengali....hats off to him...doing justice to the character....Reminded me of the days when these Muktee bheyanee started killing Pakistanis in Dacca, they would go into each house searching for them and without hesitation kill the whole family....I saw blood everywhere, people running for life, children and infants were also killed...burned their houses...People were running to the airport to take flights back to West Pakistan...It was a massacre.....Alhamdulilah we could get a flight to West Pakistan....Today when I go to Bangladesh, I feel sorry for the people. Watching this drama serial brought back all the memories...which are not pleasant.

First of all due to this drama I came to know more about the 1971 Bangladesh incident. I loved Sonia's character, she is straight forward and brave. Most importantly she is doing her bit for Humanity. Wahaj Ali again amazed everyone with his acting skills, his character Rumi is little complexed still he managed to show his emotions very well. Talha also did a good job as Captain Farukh
