I got close to or over 20 power from one card each in two lanes from them, and while giving my opponent negative power as well! I didn't think it would work as well as it did!

Luke Cage isn't a problem. I never encountered him playing Ajax, but I have Enchantress and Rogue to get rid of Luke Cage or at least tale the positive power for myself so it's not a problem at all lol

Ajax is SO much better than Gilgamesh! Much higher power and he's not stuck at a certain power. I was able to turn it around with a last turn Hazmat play, and an on reveal wouldn't have that extra power! Plus Mystique copies him! Ajax as an ongoing is SO much better.
too bad most people don't see it like that. I didn't know it was considered toxic for my first month because all my early games people used it like good job.

I really don't think CassNova will be all that good with Ajax, since he gets power from cards in play, and how many cards from the deck can the opponent play after Turn 3? Yes, she will be a big stat stick but Ajax might just get 3 more power thanks to her at best
imo only the Miss Marvel and Venom emotes are toxic, but I'm one of the people that didn't know Miss Marvel was a middle finger. Used to read her as a sarcastic thumbs up at max

Also Arishem is a VERY close second to Ms Marvel. It’s the same concept but ONLY intended to be used negatively, and the opponent had to SPEND MONEY for it. In fact, its infrequency the only thing keeping it from being number 1 for me.
Funnily enough, I use Arishem in conjuction with Spider-Man whenever I see another Arishem player. It's like an "Eyyyyy my fellow randomized bullcr*ap friend!"
I don't know, I used to give a fist bump then ms marvel all the time, and I really wasn't meaning it as an F you to my opponent, I just meant it as a GG. I've been thinking about using the Captain Marvel shrug when I lose and the Ms Marvel Thumbs up when I win, but I don't know. I do love the Captain Marvel one though. I wish the emotes were more accessible, they gotta lower the price in the shop for them before I'm willing to pay for some of the new ones, I want the Ms Time one and the Beast lol

Ajax just feels bad roght now since luke cage hard counters him almost entirely. Him also being ongoing really doesnt do any favors for him either. And get what they're trying to do but it's just kind of messy.

Enchantress is more effective than Rogue. With Rogue you steal Luke's ability but you still don't have negative powered cards to feed Ajax

Idea: Just run Ajax as a tech card! You can use it to counter toxic decks, being a near-guaranteed win if the opponent doesn’t draw theirs.
