Fact: Most filipinos don't have a vocal coaches or a proper training, you can see them sing every where, there Training ground is on a bathroom and also the first karaoke machine was made by a filipino, singing is a culture in the philippines 😁
yes that's true. Katrina & the boys are all self-taught. Karaoke machine is the voice teacher lol! Voice lessons can be expensive & most can't afford them. Most of these singers (Katrina, Morissette, Charice, and almost everyone else) had to join singing contests since they were kids to hone their craft. None of them even won these contests (just maybe semi-finalists). It's a very competitive industry because there's so much talent out there.

I love how these two just instantly came up with the idea that these singers have had vocal training. No, Filipinos naturally starts singing at a very young age, its just a very big part of our culture/tradition, we sing on every occasion and Karaoke systems are a staple on every household, but yes there are also singers that have had vocal training but VERY VERY RARE! probably 95-98% of all the professional singers here in the Philippines haven't had vocal training.

Thanks Guys for appreciating Pilipino Artists. These four amazing individual Singers have no Vocal training and they arrange their own songs. BTW, about 98% of Pilipino Singers have no Professional Vocal Training, they just rely on their God given raw Talents and they started singing at a very very young age and kept on practicing and entering on every competition until they reach celebrity status. Singing is part of Pilipino Culture, almost every corner of the Country you'll find people belting their hearts out on a Karaoke (we call it Videoke) machine, in Bars, Restaurants, in Malls and at home especially when there is a occasion. Besides, the Patent Holder of Karaoke Machine was a Pilipino ( Roberto Del Rosario) in 1975. We have a saying in the Philippines that goes; "SINGERS are not MADE they are BORN". Though Pilipino Singers are really great they are still unknown, undermined, underrated and undiscovered and discriminated, thanks for the Social Media that they were able to showcase their Talents.

Maybe in other country, they usually go to singer/voice teacher to know how to sing, but not in the Philippines. I tell you guys. David foster once said, "Land of the great singers". Singing is in our culture that's why you will see singing everywhere here even in a cemetery. ☺️♥️

Voice teaching is not much an industry in the Phils. We learn to sing since early childhood from family and friends and from watching tv shows. Singing is very much part of everyday life.

it always brings me to tears every time I hear this song sung by them. And FYI, most Filipinos did not have voice lessons growing up. It's purely a God-given talent. I wish I also sing like them. As a Filipina myself, I am one of the few exceptions hahaha.

Lord honey, I’m the Philippines, they don’t have any teacher! They just do everyday Karaoke , every home ever since they can talk at the age of 5 ( seriously) we just like to sing . Every home expect that to their kids! and this is the result.
One thing I can say some of the comments section they're right, Most Of the Singers artist in the Philippines Never or had a coaching session or teacher's, Here In Philippines That's our culture Every each Home You can't see there is no One Who can't sing... There is Every Each of the Family Who greatly given such a good and amazing voice, Trust me! You can visit and try, You will amaze, and one of the coaching session not with the teacher's, But using The ( Videoke Machine ) Because Filipinos really love to sing and That's also one of the thing we are bonding, gathering, Reunion, Bday etc. Up until from the young age up until to the oldest Here in Philippines can sing very Well. Like How speak in English. English is our second language the reason why even though young children can't speak in English. The same as singing.
