I was lucky enough to see CONFLICT 4 times when they played Sydney, Australia in 1997. Unlike people overseas, I've never been able to see them again. I was able to meet all members after the gig, right there in the bar they played at. I have never met such polite, kind, friendly people in my life. I love them for both their music and lyrics. They deserve respect for the work they have done for the many other bands, such as the Lost Cherrees. A Truely remarkable band, mean every word they say.
TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU BUDDY...I GOT INTO PUNK IN 1978 --79 AND I'M NOW 53yrs old ( 54 in February 2022 ) and I'm still a PUNK ROCKER ....AS THEY SAY IN IT FOR LIFE...!!!! 🏴🅰️🏴 and YEAH..!! PUNK ROCK AIN'T DEAD.... IT'S JUST THAT WE ARE GETTING OLDER THE SPIRIT OF PUNK ROCK WILL CONTINUE TO INSPIRE YOUNG FOLK'S FOR EVER MORE...PUNK ROCK REBELLION LIVES FOR EVER 🏴🏴🏴☮️☯️🅰️🌍🌏🌎🏴🏴🅰️🏴🏴..🍺😊💣💥🔥🔥
Saw them live in Brixton, London back in 1984 at the age of 14. It goes without saying it was a magnificent experience. Conflict were true punk rockers in contrast to bands like Sex Pistols, Clash and Exploited.
YUP...!! This is my favourite all time song by the mighty CONFLICT. I've been lucky enough to see them live 7 time's and each gig has been awesome ..!! I first heard CONFLICT in 1981 I was already into PUNK and SKA, REGGAE, I got into PUNK in 1978 -- 79 and was listening to the ruts, the clash, The Specials, and selecter, madness, steel pulse, black roots, ...ect ect ect, AND I STARTED TO GET INTO THE 🅰️ N 🅰️ RCHO -- PUNK, band's like SUBHUMANS, RUDIMENTARY PENI, and of course CONFLICT,and I've been a fan ever since....!!! It would be great to see them live again...🇧🇴🇧🇴🌍🌏🌎🇧🇴🏴🏴☮️☯️🅰️🏴🏴.......🍺😊💣💥🔥🔥
are they still going - one of my favorites - used to listen to it in Giros Bfs - got the single - does anyone remember the gig in feck my memory across from tigers bay and all the skinheads crashed - a total riot 1986 - what did u call that bloody bar
Not sure where you're talking about but this video is from Fender's ballroom, Long Beach CA. 1985. It was great and skinheads did almost the same thing there lol god I miss those days
anyone who discusses anarchim needs to recognize the fact that anarchism has existed as a legitimate form of government before. All you have to do is look into what was going on in Barcelona/Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War (mid to late 1930's).. Their government was Anarcho-Syndacalism and the only thing that stopped them from continuing their existence was Franco's fascist army .
Do you mean "custom rock" ? where he sings "there must be a better way there must be another way there must be a quicker way" I think it's in the ungovernable force album.
Punk was great in the 80s which is why I don't follow it anymore. Some bands still play currently but they're just old & weathered and the energy is just not there. 80s punk was the best & strongest. RIP
as you say its utopic.and because of that it may never ever happen because you know we need new humans without the sence of greed and power to do that. but anarchy is a good base of principals even thoug people thinks is complete chaos it isnt, is an orther without rules and a lider to tell us wath to do because we allready should have consiousnes of how to act and think in that way and live in freedom and peace at the same time.we better think in how to fix our real world instead.

I can see what he's trying to say but it's so poorly written it plays right into the BNP's hands. To Conflict: you don't have to be PC but you do need to accept that asylum seekers have a right to asylum on a humanitarian platform regardless of anybody who may want to blow us to pieces once they're here - which isn't often.
