- Ever wondered how to get the latest Futaba update onto your 7PXR, 7PX or 7XC? This video guides you through the process of updating your Futaba transmitter and shows how easy it is to do!
The latest software at the time of making this video is version 6.0, but this process should work for all updates on these transmitters.

I was trying to update my 4PX. Took me a few times to see that the file structure was wrong in my SD card. once I matched yours it went right into update.Thanks for making this video!

SPENT 7hrs trying to get v3.0 update to ver6 on 10px. Futaba missed an instruction stating the directory should be futaba\update\T10PX. they only state \update thanks for your video so easy

Still cant get mine to update. Its got v7.0 on it now and they are at v12.0 on the website.
If you’re following this guide, chances are you need to use a different microsd card. Which one are you using?

It's made by Tail Slider in Japan. They are available to buy via the TS webshop

The wheel is manufactured by a company in Japan called Tail Slider. They have a wide range for Futaba and also Sanwa. Sometimes they are out of stock, but if you check back regularly you will see when they restock.

If you search for "7px" you should find all Futaba versions

I downloaded that file put it in my radio it says that it’s in the radio but I don’t see it
Make sure you have the file in the correct location on the SD card and that you are using a suitable card. You need to use a smaller card that is not XDHC. I recommend 8 or 16gb max.

On the 7PXR,How does the Start Function work? Dont really understand the instructions in the manual. I dont understsnd The trigger point and preset values, and what they mean when you set them.
I'll be honest, I never used it because I don't run a nitro car. I'd recommend talking to your local Futaba dealer for advice.
@@RCPACE its for an electric car 😂, the function helps with takeoff some how
@@ET-ve3wb My bad, I confused start and idle-up meant for nitro.
The start function just needs you to manually choose a throttle level (%) as pre-set position and then the trigger level you want it to kick in at. So you could set a 15% throttle position when you are 20% trigger at the start.
I think the start function might be useful for race starts but not for drifting (no idea if you're tying to use it for a drift car). Any good ESC should handle this better I think.

Is it the same process for updating the 4pm?
I believe it is similar but I never personally did it. Futaba publishes update instructions on their website so maybe double check with that.

Wallpaper is only available on 7PXR, it is a standard feature.
Hi i cant get my 7pxr to update I've tried everything I can think of it doesn't do anything when trying to update any help?
Try a different microsd card. I think the 7px does not support higher capacity XD cards so an or maybe 16gb card is actually what you want

Sorry for the late reply... It's a Tail Slider aluminium wheel from Japan. They have a web shop you can buy from and they will ship worldwide. They are available for futaba and sanwa

Check out your 7pxr manual. It is not possible on 7px, only 7pxr
@@RCPACE hi , can you explain how to setup picture for home screen, i've picture file in folder PICTURE. but my 7pxr dont display it when i want to change. the manual doesnt explain what file format that 7pxr can read.
@@ilud2007 You should check the manual because there is a specific file type and size that it must be. I think it's a .bmp file, but be careful you are not changing colour options etc
@@RCPACE hi, i do read the manual. The printed doesnt tell what kind of file 7pxr can read. But in pdf they told that the file must be 254 x 114 p maks and BMP format. I follow the instruction and still cannot display it in my 7pxr. Can you send me BMP file is in your 7pxr to my email (ilud007@gmail.com) so i can test if my 7pxr doesnt not com faulty. Thanks
@@ilud2007 Sorry, I just saw this comment. The image needs to be a 24bit file, so MS paint is good to use.
