    I'm thinking that Mayor Scott subconsciously doesn't want to be mayor any more. He could have simply given the money to these other organizations, pointing out that smaller organizations are making notable contributions to uplift city residents, and let it go at that. He _knew_ his unnecessary comment would come across as a slap in the face to the minority (i.e. white,) residents of Baltimore City, and he chose to say it anyway. I say again, this comment - coupled with his disastrous Joy Reid interview - makes me think the Mayor Job has finally overwhelmed him and he wants out of it. Or else he just wants all the minority residents of the city to leave! I, for one, plan to move out of state as soon as I'm able. (Not due to his comments. 😂I've been wanting to return to my home state for years.)
