I wish if the internet was there during 40s to 70s we could have heard so many valuable pearls of music and we could have introduced their greatness to the present generation. Very true Sir. Karaikurichi Arunachalam passed away over 57 years ago. He was 20 days short of reaching 43 when he died so prematurely. We are still able to hear his divine music thanks to the magic of sound recording and reproduction. How wonderful it would have been if the same technology had been present from centuries ago. We may have been able to hear the voices of so many great saints and great historical figures.

Thanks a ton to the uploader whose discernment of classicism is praiseworthy indeed, what with his choice of the items, labours of love for transferring the sounds with the original superior recording quality of the gramophone recordings, and ABOVE ALL, his evident desire to share high class hyperdimensional experience with others. It is heatening to note that already in just about a half year, as I write this, over 30 thousand have listened to this. I wish to point outbhere that qualities of endurance and perseverance are tye more easily imbibed by listening to classical (Carnatic) music for not less than a couple hours at a stretch. These qualities are indispensable for even pursuits in the mundane world if one wants to climb theladder of marerial success such as climb to the top in an organisational hierarchy. However these are like extra bonus, the main benefits being peace and contentedness which are indispensable for harmony and happiness in living in a family, community, as a contributing member.
Sages of the ancient times have realized the importance of certain sounds in invoking positive energies and driving away the negative forces. Thus they have made sure that they are heard daily as mangala vaaidyam. the first sound yo be heard before opening the day is naadaswaram in order to have perfect atmosphere at home.
I don't have any basic knowledge of the classical carnatic music but listening to karukuricciyar made me listening to certain ragas like arabi hindolam and hintustani rag durga. This great vidvaan nadaswaram sound has really mesmerized me indeed.
His command over this instrument is unparalleled and very unique. Very mesmerizing and attractive style. So many tried to imitate him, but his mastery could not be achieved. His early demise created greatest voids indeed
