Angelo Debarre is a French guitarist born into the Django Reinhardt Gypsy tradition. Having lived in a caravan for many decades, he spent his youth performing in France with family and friends. On top of his love for the music of Django Reinhardt, he is also well known for his passion for eastern European music which he discovered in the 80s, when many eastern European Gypsy musicians were performing in Paris at the Roue Fleurie. Today, he is recognized as one of the top Gypsy Jazz guitarists in the world.

My favorite gypsy jazz player by a mile. The combination of technique, tone, feel, and virtuosity is unmatched.
It's not just his virtuosity. It's the joy you can hear in what's chosen to play. That's why I come back to DeBarre time and again.
there's few guitarrist like him on earth....
Love the energy/speed/quotations/fluidity. What a master!
First time hearing this guy play. Wow this is insane. Incredible flow and melody. Not sure if it's improv or not but just crazy good. 100% master
It's both. Angelo is a monster guitarist. As you can see.
Mind blowing stuff. He's got all, technique, feel, fantasy
What a legend!
Well, another Debarre solo I need to transcribe in 40% of original speed.
O M G....Astonishing! Absolutely amazing that some musicians have so much creativity and control . Angelo ...one of the best , perhaps the best Jazz guitar player
A guitarist's player; he is so far ahead of the pack -one of the greatest in the world and musically sensitive and emotional.
Great motifs, and high energy, great performance
The way he plays into the middle 8 at 1.43 is astonishing.

I've always favoured Jimmy's version, but Angelo plays this with equal measures of harmony and tenacity, love it!
Spero un giorno di sentirlo suonare in Sardegna!

He likes his china boy . Great :)
le souci avec les jazzman manouche, c'est que j'ai l'impression que la vitesse de lecture de vidéo est toujours sur 1.75...lol
Bon, le principal ici, c'est que ca sonne bien. Même très, très bien....
Is this on one of his lessons?

I've listened to Rusty Cooley or Jeff Loomis and listening to this guy....I am speechless.
Le subieron la velocidad ladris
who is the maker of this guitar?
Selmer maybe..
tab xd
Damn, this videos really looks like we're living in the 1930s but with full hd cameras
the theory behind this gypsy swing is really beyond me... he plays so many chords, in the same shape but in parallel (octaves too, but im not talking about those but the dom9 kind-of-shapes)... i wonder if he's using some kind of rehamonization technique based on the melody... because the background guitar (the base chords) definitely does not play as many chords as the lead guitar.
a lot of it is chromatic phrasing. It helps roll into the main chords.
Does this guy get busy, or what?
bei denti
Unattainable!
makes it look too easy
Meme django jouait pas comme ca !
Hahaha This Guitarist play China Boy and the intro of kind of the Thinderbirds in One .....l
This reminds me of SpongeBob
you know, I have to admire the player, the notes, and maybe this is descending from Django Reinhardt, the Hot Jazz of Paris, but I don't so aspire. I admire, but I'm working on Mozart piano sonata(s).
No one cares
ohh I'm not on pornhub
Meme django jouait pas comme ca !
lui manquait p'têtre quelques doigts? :)
