Hi, Sharina, your videos are great! My 10 year old son loves watching them and has already decided he is going to make the suitcase and smash books, thankyou, Samantha and Dylan x
Wonderful tutorial and video.....I really like the tip for centering...a template. Lots of quick and simple ideas for putting this together. Adorable SmashBook. Thank You..
BEAUTIFUL! Love it all. Going to give this a try, i really like this easy style, without all the fuss of the other type binding. And wow, just envelopes and cards, who knew, lol. You do beautiful work, hope they pick you for the DT person! TFS ~ leslie
3-26-2020: Oh, good gosh, girl, are you serious? This tutorial is the absolute BOMB!!, Sharina. I'm so inspired, have seen many others, trust me, before deciding that your version is the one I want to tackle this very afternoon. The ideas you've put forth, I...I'm too excited for words. I can't wait. TFS!!
I learned it from Country Craft Creations (I believe she has a you tube channel). Basically it's just layered flower punches . I had a large flower and small one in the same style. Bend up the edges before you adhere them together. And a cute center of your choice. They are pretty quick and super cute!
Hi. I love your book and I`m going to try to make one with the same paper collection... But I would like to know first which size those papers are. Thanks a lot for a great tutorial!!
Thank you! 😀 Score tape is excellent. Sometimes I use a thin layer of tacky glue and swish it down flat so it doesn't bubble. Hope you get a chance to make one 😀
I chanced upon your page while searching smash books. This is absolutely helpful and now I know the process of it all. Is the front and back chipboards thicker than the actual pages ? How can you punch out holes without a zutter? Thank you
Im so pleased this helped you :) I used a thicker chipboard for the front and back covers. You could punch holes with a cropadile if you have one of those, or take it to your local copy place and have them bind it. Iv'e don't it both those ways several times also.
I feel like I need someone there to take me step by step of things but I don't have no one. What I've made so far nobody would probably look at twice but to me I'm proud of them and they were fun and relaxing and I have OCD and some other disorders and if I get stuck, then I feel overwhelmed and then my anxiety kicks in and I get mad and will just say forget it and won't do anything because when I get like that, it's like no matter what I do I'm not gonna like so I give myself a break. But I would love someone to work with me, it doesn't have to be a swap person, just someone that loves doing junk journals and smash books that would like a good friend to chat on here with and to help each other with ideas and things like that, so if anyone would like to do that just send me a message.
I love the waterfall thing but never seen one made. I seen a photo one to buy on Amazon and I think it's so cool. I just typed up a VERY LONG comment that you probably wouldn't want to read anyways and it disappeared, took me to a totally different page and then I lost everything I wrote. Happens to me all the time. I'm new and just starting in on junk journals, smash books and other stuff. I mean I scrapbooked before but this stuff is more fun then making layouts. If anyone out there has any tips, tricks, techniques, ideas or opinions. I would really appreciate that. I am not creative at all but I'm trying. I get stuck easy and don't want to make the same exact book each time. I've seen some items on here that looks intimidating and I've seen some AMAZING things done and it amazes me because I have no talent like that. My dad thinks my stuff is good, but he has no idea. Mine is nothing compared to others. Anyways I wanted to find out how you get a swap partner? I would love to have one and was wondering if they also have swap's with supplies, for example I buy a 12x12 pack of scrapbook paper and it has doubles or ones I don't like and put together like a little gift, do they have anything like that? My best friend I met on here, I use to just send her double of everything I bought because she was my best friend. She lives in Ohio and I live in Arkansas and me and my friend met on a penpal site anyways, we've been best friends for over 13 years and I've stayed at her house and she has flown here and stayed at my house twice. Anyways usually if I get a pad with double sheets, even if I like the pattern I will usually split it up and give it to someone else. Okay, if anyone can tell me where I can find a swap partner or a club or group that would be very appreciated and any kind of tips, ideas and stuff like that also would be appreciated.
I haven't paper crafted seriously in a year, but I would look up Country Craft Creations on you tube or Facebook. She is fabulous and could lead you to a good swap group.
Fragolina Dolce Vita that's not the same sharina shack.. If you click on her little picture by her name you'll see THAT faux sharina only has 18 followers. She's a fake.
I've watched a lot of smashbook videos but this one is the most beautiful one I've ever seen. Amazing.
Thank you Elaine, your sweet!

This was such a helpful video full of good ideas. Thank you for sharing. How do you glue your papers without buckling? Do you use just the score rape?
Thank you! 😀 Score tape is excellent. Sometimes I use a thin layer of tacky glue and swish it down flat so it doesn't bubble. Hope you get a chance to make one 😀

Hello
Cute, cute, cute! Love them.
Thank you Jane! Give it a try!
Thanks for sharing this video!
very pretty
I like it but I don't have this tools to make a smash so do you have a simple ideas
nihal wahbi Instead of binding it with a "bind it all" or "cinch" you can just use 1" jump rings from an office supply store.
Ok thank you for your time♡
