I think it is a bit of a shame that Dr. Ruckman doesn't talk about how Adam and Eve were created in the image of God and all humans after that are in Adam's post-fall image (Genesis 5 : 3) and it tracks, at least in my mind, that it's possible people get their souls differently than the very first, pre-fall man because we begin differently. Adam and Eve didn't grow 9 months in a womb like every human after them. There are many verses in the Old Testament that show the soul is a bodily shape. "If a soul touch any unclean thing" (Leviticus 5 : 2, 7 : 21) "The soul that eateth" (Leviticus 7 : 18, 20) etc. So although there are no verses in Scripture that explicitly define how or when a post-fall human gets their soul its possible and perfectly reasonable to me that the soul grows up with every baby from conception because you can't pin down from Scripture exactly how or when it happens but we do know for certain a soul is a bodily shape and we do know for certain that from the point of conception to birth a human body is developing. PS I think it's a shame how people were saying before (on the now unlisted video) that "he recanted this position" when his position is stated very clearly at 9:31 "I don't recommend it. Did you hear what I said? You hear what I said? I said I don't recommend it. You hear what I said? Everybody hear what I said? You sure you heard what I said?"

@@MitchellCH i have no clue lol ruckman said his brain works like a grain elevator, you give him a question and his brain goes down to get the answer and often brings up more than just the answer. From knowing his teaching you’d want to listen to his Romans commentary because this deals with Romans 9-11, as well as Hebrews commentary with the tithes to Melchizidek. I imagine Genesis commentary deals with it. Ironically 2 Corinthians commentary may deal with it. Gospel of John commentary for that matter. He has taught on it and I know it interacts with all those areas in Scripture just don’t have a link for ya

Well whatever science calls "oxygen" (xword!) is actually God and the minute you hit the air, BOOM, the doctors place it on the tombstone, (not the day of the act between the man and woman) It's shows God's omnipresence and how man becomes a living thing all in the first book! The Lord covers EVERYTHING in His word, just believe everything you're reading even if you can't understand it because God is always going to be the correct one NO MATTER WHAT! Romans 3:4 And if they'd clean up the fornication problems instead of teaching it in school we wouldn't even need to be talking about the situation. I seen a video of where he changed his views on abortion, but not sure if this was before or after this video was filmed. Personally I believe if God was ok with abortion it'd be easier and safer to do than it is.

Look up mischief in the websters 1828 dictionary, it's described as intentional injury or harm done. All the examples ruckman gives are intentional also. The 2 men fighting were not intending on hurting the woman. Accidental is not intentional murder. That's why he was not sentenced to death but pay instead. Also the provision for mischief gives an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth consequence meaning if mischief or intention is found, its a life for a life. This shows life is inside the womb based on that posibility for death as a consequence. Ruckman had it wrong here. Hopefully he recanted this position as many of the comments say.
Hopefully this will wake many Bible believers up about "Doc". Ruckman was a terribly flawed man in his personal life & unfortunately in many doctrinal areas as well... I'm not saying he didn't do any good. He defended the AV1611 at a time when there were few people doing so - which was commendable. But that doesn't give him a free pass on his heretical teachings in other areas - like this one. Also his multiple divorces and failed marriages, including admissions of spousal abuse, make him a poor example of someone to look up to. There are far too many idolators of Ruckman who seem to glorify blindly following a man instead of the word of God.
John 8:7 KJV: "So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." Who ever said that Ruckman was sinless or didn't have any troubles in his life? If you knew anything about the man, you would know that he never divorced any wife, they abandoned and filed for divorce against him. He never abused any woman in his life, including the woman he was married to upon his death in 2016. You surely don't know anything for someone who claims to know a lot about a man you never met and read third hand gossip about. He also didn't remarry until his ex-wives remarried. He just repeated multiple times in this video that he does not recommend abortion or advise it. He also mentions extenuating circumstances in real life that affect women. That is hardly any kind of endorsement for abortion. He also mentioned that he doesn't counsel any couple to get a divorce in his pastoral counseling sessions with married couples. If you got the all the wax out of your ears, you might have heard exactly what he said in this particular video. Ruckman preached sound doctrine and when it wasn't doctrine or his opinion on matters not specifically in scripture, he would say that point blank. The only thing glorified by Ruckman or members of his church was the 1611 KJB.
