This is a masterpiece. I am almost 80 years old and have never heard a more beautiful and soulful rendition of My Romance. Joana and Joe and the entire Quintet are spectacular. Kudos to All.

Aw man...so smooth. I've never heard Joana play before but I am an instant fan. Almost as smooth as Scott. Joan, the talent you develop never ceases to amaze me.

It's amazing how you get your ladies to be so exceptionally talented. Here is an example with Joana of something that is very beautiful, she deserves an extra rose for her tenor playing.

How wonderful! A beautiful tenor voicing. Haven't heard Joana on the tenor before....so tender and sweet..laid back and lovely.....all the right notes, not too many, not too few. Perfection in blending with Magnarelli's masterful interpretation.

Lovely tone! Joana sounds like Stan Getz, which I thought was sort of impossible for a mortal human. Also, her playing evokes a lot of emotion, in me anyway. And Joe Magnarelli is simply superb. My wife and I are listening to this together and we both are stunned with the beauty of this track.

These groups have some truly talented piano players ... Joan Monné, Jan Domenech, and one or two others (in addition to "the old pro" Ignasi Terraza, who, of course, just blows everyone away). They all play with such restraint, maturity and taste. What a pleasure to listen to.

Wonderful love ballad by Rodgers and Hart; a real gift this song. Thank you for posting.
For those unfamiliar with the wonderful lyrics:
My romance, doesn't need to have a moon in the sky
My romance, doesn't need a blue lagoon standing by
No month of May, no twinkling stars
    No hideaway, no soft guitar
My romance doesn't need a castle rising in Spain
Or a dance to a constantly surprising refrain
All at once I can make my most fantastic dreams come true
My romance, doesn't need a thing but you

Joan. My Father passed away just this week, on the 8th. Before he did he, and my mother sang this song together in my house. It was so beautiful. It would be the last song they would ever sing together, in this world. They knew all the words. I am 51 and have been listening to this music for years, but this tune was not as familiar to me. It was like I wasn't even there in the room. They were in a different time and place. I feel I gave them your music, and you gave something back. Could you tell Joana, Elia, Andrea, Eva, Ignasi, Josep Traver, how much this means to me and my family? It was such beautiful day when he went to be with The Lord.

Tenor and flugelhorn blend so well ... especially when masterfully played by Joana & Joe with such smooth phrasing and timing. I see and hear traces of Scott Hamilton in Joana.
