Mozart smiles; the world of pianists smiles! Martha is the greatest; Baldacci scores on ability as well as Italian charm!

This sonata has the hauntingly fatality inside the happiness exhuberance of mozart. I appreciate it in the hours that follows a listen even the days that follow. This is how i listen to music it does not end at the last note. If i can have a few hour of no music after one listen, then those harmonies keep being in me even with no conscious notes heard.

almost never she does. In Rach's Suite no.1 or the Schumann's Andante and Variations (I just turned pages for her in this piece) for instance she plays primo, which in my opinion are greater pieces of music.

not my favourite performance, a lot of subdued bass, some boo-boos by Baldocci. Still, it's live, they did a good job overall, many nice interpretation ideas like the accentuated bass note in the beginning (0:50), and it's hard not to love hearing this awesome piece. thanks for sharing!

Martha Argerich is one of the best pianists in the world but Mozart is not a favourite. Listen to the Jussen brothers. Individually they are not as good as Martha but playing this together they are fare better. I love Matha Argerich in Chopin, Schuman, Brahms and Rachmaninov but not in Mozart.

    Music isn't but a toy.
Can be very nice and beautiful, but it's a toy, nothing more.
Ravel called music "a totally useless activity" , so does Ciccolini and so do I.
    Regards,
    G. Dehoux, ex music addict.
