I can't seem to believe that little tiny ford 7000 can pull that huge 7 bottom plow with such ease. Amazing 👍👍👍

Probably doctored it a little bit, not to mention very easy working ground. I highly doubt it will pull 7 bottoms in our clay. A great tractor tho. Very very tough, snotty, reliable. Slow hydraulics is the only fault lol

We had a 7000 on the farm back in the day. We put duels wheels on it and filled all four tires with fluid. and pulled a five-shank ripper. Somehow it took it. Got a really tough final drive

I read somewhere that in the 1970s Ford became the number one selling tractor in the British Isles, is that true? Also, I've read that the Class Dominator introduced in 1971 became the best selling combine in Europe.

Yes it could very well be true the farmers got with ford and ask for 4whele drive and a100hp 6cylinder engine to help pull their emploments up the grassy hills

Poor visibility by today’s standards. Just look at how that on-land ploughman hangs out to the right of the steering wheel to see and steer accurately. Must have been hellish uncomfortable over a day’s work, especially as the gearbox casing would get hot enough to boil an egg and his left leg must have been leaning against it or be twisted for even more discomfort.
The engines on these 7000 tractors were terrible for having a very narrow working range and almost no torque reserve. Fond Of Red Diesel was indeed an accurate description and they only had a 16.5 UK gallon fuel tank, which meant refilling at least once during a normal working day and if on shift work on rotators, for instance,, up to six times a day. The noise and heat being unbearable.
No rose tinted glasses here. Give me modern tractors or even the Ford 7700 from 1975 with large fuel tanks and a quiet comfortable cab.
