- Sherman and Braderz join up and they command the USMC in the landings on Iwo Jima. The Marines land on the beach under heavy fire and they have to slowly make their way into the island whilst being under heavy constant fire from pretty much everywhere...

Remember, if you shift-double right click on wounded troops with your medic, he'll queue up sprinting to each one to revive them. Helps save time if there's a lot of them.

In the battle of Iwo-Jima the Japanese didn't open up before the beach was full of Marines.

Quod Perierat Actually I've spoken to a marine who was apart of the first wave and they opened up prior to even landing he said, luckily noone got hit though, and the bodies didn't start piling up on the beach until the 5 & 6 waves started landing.

it would have been cool if the Japanese fire started when they landed not when they were coming from the boats that would have made it more like the real landing. but still its an AMAZING map good job sir hinkel

my map is split half way which makes it a pain to advance... and every step i take, their big guns rain down on full units

Do more Hinkels mods! You and raptor and friends actually play it on a challenging difficulty and play it strategically, AF guides over there is a scrub who does more videos of them which I can't stand to watch because of how super scrub he is.

kahzhoex its a Regiment rather than a Corps the Royal Marines are elite light infantry that specialise in Commando style operations and or rapid assault. Were as (from my understanding) the USMC is a small army in of itself? Heavy Infantry, tanks, planes and ships?

The marine corps is a large expeditionary force, designed for mass amphibious assault. And the Royal Marines are like us army Rangers but marine insertion not airborne
