The End of Mykhailo Mudryk.
The End of Mykhailo Mudryk.
The End of Mykhailo Mudryk.
True story: met Mudryk in lisbon airport on Xmas day going back to London. Said oh I take it your going home now (meaning England, poor wording on my behalf) he looked me dead in the eyes and said I haven't been home since the war started. Probably most awkward moment of my life.
What did you say after
@@Slitzenoh you’re taking the piss now lad
Don't worry, Boris also forgot that war
I said oh yeah sorry about that🥹🥹@Slitzen
@@StamfordFXoutrageous
Surprised you didnt include Mudryk in the reality check video
Reason why is because of his contract I don't think he can even go to a different team right now even if they wanted too
(chelsea fan pov) i think it kinda depends how much chelsea improve this season, tbh it’s early summer and we’ve already brought and are looking at a lot of talent, and i think it depends on how much of this is acted on and how well the players in his position improve over the next 1-2 years. granted he’s not serving the whole 4 years.
It’s so sad. He had so much potential. He looked amazing in every match in the Ukrainian league. So nice, so awesome. As a Chelsea fan, I was rooting for him so much. I remember when we got him over Arsenal and we all celebrated. We thought he would save us, ended up being a diffrent winger. I just really want him back.
It's a tough lesson to learn..I hope he comes back stronger and takes his game to the next level
@@ianrafferty7379no he was always mid

@@ква-ква-ква-кваI'm an Arsenal fan and I agree with you bro😊
Anyone can look amazing in the Ukranian league bro 😂
Some times it’s not the right club for the player, Vitinha never worked in the premier league even though he’d walk into most teams in the world now.
Still can't believe he didn't work at at wolves man
@wefijds Bro played against almost all the PL Teams in the Ucl and made them look silly. What are you talking about, man bro is more than able to prove he's world class
No doubt he's talented...I hope it works out for him👍
@@L3nneth Bro you weird asf. Did he not play at Wolves eh? Not really the best side in the league innit? I'm sure if you put him in a Liverpool or a City side he would do good in PL.
Truth be told, the EPL is static.
Mudryk, a 'what could've been' story of our time.
The hype around him in late 2022 was crazy man
@@Vizeh the only reason he was hyped is because he was Ukraine and everyone was blinded by the war or those who weren't were afraid to call it out for fear of being labeled pro Putin.
If this dude was from Poland, everyone would see him for what he was, a maximum $20 million bench option.
@@tomatoisnotafruit5670why wasn’t every Ukraine player hyped then ?
Going from a Steve Jobs turtleneck to secondary school shirt is CRAZY work 💀
What if
What if he HAD gone to Arsenal?
One of the saddest things is that we'll never know
He wouldn't fare much better, Arsenal got lucky they ended up dodging this guy. But if he did go to Arsenal, he wouldn't be on the team by now, they would try to play him, realize he is actually not as good as advertised, then bench him and ship him off ASAP, would be easier for Arsenal to get rid of him because they weren't dumb enough to pay as much as chelsea did and they certainly wouldn't be dumb enough to give him a super long contract.
STEVE JOBS IS CRAZY!!!!😭😭😭
Shouldn’t of gone for the turtleneck if he was gonna get all butthurt lol
as a chelsea fan, i can say most of the fanbase is so sad over this. out of the many players we signed that are shit in the last few years, hes one of the few you can clearly see theres a PLAYER in there if he is properly coached. he lost his confidence under potter because we were so shit, poch couldnt help him because he cannot teach football.
his problem is 100% decision making. if he improves it even slightly he would be amazing. every time i got to see him play i was excited even tho he was bad. his speed and the way he can control the ball is brilliant, but he runs faster than he can make decisions, and unlike great "chaos" wingers his instincts are not so good (probably a confidence issue tho).
and the most depressing part? the conference league actually started to boost his confidence and make him look better. he started scoring bangers and giving great assists and finally getting there, and then he got banned for taking banned substances? for ENDURANCE? he is neither injury prone or gets tired quickly. this thing doesnt even solve his problem. thats just cruel and depressing honestly.
we will miss you mudryk, godspeed.
As an Arsenal fan I don’t know how I feel about him and what he could’ve done. I don’t know whether to feel angry or happy we isn’t get him…
Here's the thing, I doubt under Arteta he would be the player he was at least mentally, he did have potential but he joined a Chelsea team that was still trying to gel together and let's be real they were absolutely abysmal at the time. In another universe, I feel he joined Arsenal and would have been a bit of a better player. Im glad we got Trossard over him though.
@@XinniiStratus you are crazy. Under Arteta he would flop like the players under him do now.

At least he can pursue his other dream of being a tiktoker because he is genuinely funny
The move to Chelsea completely ruined his career, but it sounds to me as though he didnt want to make it. The Athletic reported that he was apparently on the phone, in tears, begging Arsenal to do something - he wanted to make the sensible decision of moving to a team where his national team captain was & where he'd be in a more welcoming environment, but he couldn't make the move because Arsenal didn't want to match Chelsea's bid.
Damn atp I would have killed myself. Hes strong to still wanna make his football career work
Dam, that's sad man 😢 hope he gets back on track.
You believe everything you hear🤣, he could have said no mate he’s not forced to do anything 🤣
Yeah okay 😂
Absolute bullshit. He could have stayed and waited for Arsenal.
He’s an average player not a Chelsea level. £88 prise tag is ridiculous. Palmer and Delap almost twice cheaper.
All I hope is that he makes a comeback
I can see him tearing it up in Serie A eventually when the suspensions is lifted

Ukrainian here, deeply frustrating, Mischa was the star of the next generation. Not sure if he's done it purposely or not, but it's what it is. Hopefully it's not the 4 years as expected. If we had him and Konoplyanka in the same team at their primes we would have been utterly blessed especially with Yarmolenko too.
Don't Konoplyanka and Mudryk play the same position?
This was probably a best case scenerio for Chelsea, who now dont have to pay him over his ban.
Garnacho is just Mudryk that went to private school
Mudryk has a career in any team that absorves pressure and hits on the counter. Mudryk will do good in any mid tier Bundesliga team if he can improve his football IQ. He is better suited as a LWB with a LCB covering him and a LW/CF supporting him.
I love your vids bro keep it up! 🤙🏽
Cheers mate
Now with Mudrky out the way, Antony has no rivals 😮💨
Last time I was this early Messi was on his debut
Damn
Even as a Chelsea fan I hated the transfer for Mudryk as soon as it was announced, everyone and their mothers knew that it was an overpayment for an unproven forward. This might be the worst EPL transfer in recent memory.
it was basically a donation from Chelsea to the Ukraine war fund.
It's was a money laundering transfer

Who knew he needed drugs to play at 20%?
If Mudryk gets and serves a 4 year suspension he will still have 2 years left on his Chelsea contract.
I feel like Mudryk has also been let down by the craziness at Chelsea and the 200 players they have signed. I think if he had a good senior winger to mentor him he might have come right.
I can't help but think what could have been if he went to Arsenal.
I never actually thought about it, but it must be pretty though to play football and get paid millions while ur own contry is being invaded and he probably has family there, idk if i could handle that and the expactation cause i got bought for almost 100 milion
He had the same thing happen to him before he should've been more careful this time.
What a shame .....
6:14 Both clubs are in London. He still has Zinchenko about so that wouldn't be a reason. At around age 22 he had around the same number of games from youth international football as he did in club football. 20 of those games were mostly sub appearances at very low level clubs and he has already played more games for Chelsea than Shakhtar and we've barely seen him. The fee doesn't help him but he was never worth near £70m-£90m. Due to the war Shakhtar lost over £40m in foreign talent that FIFA rulings allowed foreign players in Ukraine to leave for nothing. That money needed to be recouped and largely was. Mudryk is a £30m player bought for £70m. While Shakhtar have been trying to get £40m from FIFA they pulled down Chelsea's pants on this one; there is a reason Arsenal didn't offer the money. He isn't a particularly good person and has unfortunately proved this a few times like deciding to film an older guy in a gym... Bit weird.
He bought many drones for the army. How csn you Say he isn't a good person.
You’re saying he shouldn’t feel lonely or be isolated because there is one other Ukrainian footballer that plays in the same league for a different club? You realise just being from the same country as someone doesn’t automatically make you best friends? Zinchenko is 4 years older than Mudryk and they’re from basically opposite parts of the country, Mudryk is from the East and one of the most dangerous areas, Zinchenko is from the West so his family is (relatively speaking) safe. Just declaring them as being Ukrainian and therefore Mudryk shouldn’t feel alone is completely ignorant
@@reecetommThey play in the national team, so they know each other well. It doesn't matter what part of Ukraine they come from, the mentality is the same. Especially compared to the English.
@@reecetomm Did you even watch the video? The video said it would have been beneficial going to Arsenal instead of Chelsea because of Zinchenko. I merely pointed out the irrelevance because both clubs are in the same City. I totally agree that it wouldn't automatically make them friends. But maybe direct that at the guy that made the video?
2:43 not a big deal but for Heidenheim the "ei" in "Heiden" is pronounced the same way as the "ei" in "heim".
The talent is there, if you're in doubt of that, just watch his performance vs Leipzig 4-1 I think, the personality is the problem. He will probably end up in America again if he comes back.
Never a doubt of his talent, in some areas. I think his decision making consistently is the key difference for him
I think the worst part about mudryk is his hair cut. Footballing ability is questionable, but i guarantee if he got a better hair cut, he'd play miles better
this is to all the footballers who are thinking of risking it for substance abuse: if you're going to do it, at least do a fun drug. take it from one of the original chelsea ballers Adrian Mutu and Mark Bosnich who had a penchant for for the snowy white
Took performance enhancing drugs and still didn't play well. 😂😂
stfu we chelsea fans love him well wait for him to return he will be proven innocent
There's been a lot of eastern European boxers and other combat athletes found to be taking this meldonium stuff, I wonder if he's took it to try and get his fitness up and get back into the squad, might be off cycle with it but they've caught him out at a poor time for him. Either way. He was vastly overrated. Over paid for but I don't wish ill will on the guy. Even as someone who doesn't like Chelsea.
It's been banned for years and eastern European athletes are still getting regularly popped for it. It's getting ridiculous at this point.
Maybe Mudryk is a doper, but Chelsea have form with players on big fat contracts that the latest manager don't fancy: Mutu & Bosnich..
That’s a good point
Lucky for him he signed a 10 year contract 😭😭

Ngl as a german person I can't understand how there are people (especially in a job as international as football) in this day and age who don't speak at least enough english to properly communicate.
That’s because being able to speak English requires a decent foundation of phonetics and just knowing the pronunciations by heart. It’s not like Spanish where you could read it without learning it much.
But English has so many weird rules even natives can’t explain them. For example, “Tough and Though” , “Should, Shroud”, pronounced completely different and then you have words with letters you don’t pronounce, like “Write”, “castle” “Wednesday”.
Now imagine you were born and raised in a place where English isnt spoken everyday, while having no proper foundation of the english phonetic system. Learning English by heart is mere impossible for them even giving effort to learn the language is difficult because they have to start from 0 without any foundation, just as you trying to learn Russian
And Also, since you’re German, most of your alphabets are already the same as English. Not every language contains mostly Latin alphabets
"Did he knowingly take this?"
Mate, when have you last seen someone forcefeeding a grown up man?
He means did he take it not knowing it was a banned substance
LFG YOU UPLOADED
Chelsea have certainly signed some stinkers in recent years.
He should get a new tatoo, with Chelsea's Logo and also write Slava Ukraine on his forehead, that will make him good
5:17 he was 22 years old at the time of his Chelsea transfer, not 19
His career is in the MUDryk now
I think that if he gets a 2+ year ban and the 6 or so months that he’s sat out aren’t included then his career (at least at Chelsea) is completely finished
Are you sure about that? Doesn't he have another five or so years left on his contract?
@@moonglum101 pretty sure you can rip up the contract for anything over like 18 months
@@Lilshaq224 you're probably right. Something like this situation should be catered for in the contract. I wonder if they'll sue for some of their money back, assuming they've been paying him all this time.

9:45 best comment I have ever seen😂😂😂
I think he could still be a good player
With the last couple of seasons behind us, and the quite extraordinary physcial transformations some Chelseaplayers have gone through in a matter of weeks during the summers, i dare say that it would not surprise me one bit if this is how things are done at that club. I mean, just a tiny bit of cheating to make every single player faster, stronger, more durable and far quicker to bounce back after injuries? Not as if they wont bend every single rule out there to get every single advandtage available heh
Let’s not kid ourselves, no one has ever taken anything without knowing full well. I like the guy, but the moon is still round and hell is hot.
Darwin disrespect is crazy
No doubt. In spite of the second part of last season, Darwin has done Great for liverpool overrall, much better than mudryk for chealsea
yeah Darwin actually has talent, just unfortunate it didn't work out for him in Liverpool, but that's football, transfers don't always work out, Mudryk on the other hand was a shady mess from the start.

Murdick was last season under maresca on his last ”show me” year. It almost looked like charity project cos maresca felt bad for him and letted him play against terrible teams in joke tournament conferense league. This gotta be a ploy from Chelsea to get rid of him, because no shot he was doping with those performances

As a German I'm not sad, that an Ukrainian player is doing bad at Chelsea 😅
I forgot he existed
Dope Boy
Although Mudryk definitely needed something to improve his performances taking whatever he did didn't seem to work as it's unlikely he got caught out by a drug test straight away & he was still pretty poor in his final games & now being actually caught he might not be able to play again for another 4 years which won't help his performance when or if he eventually returns. At £89 million he has been a very expensive flop & Arsenal got lucky that Chelsea hijacked their deal to sign him which in hindsight was a blessing in disguise, serves Chelsea fc right when they stole this hopeless wonder kid from under their London rivals noses they got more than they bargained for & might aswell have burnt £89 million avoiding another headache, but what goes around comes around, now Chelsea fc just have to wear this costly mistake after thinking they were being so smart doing it dirty over Arsenal, you reap what you sow Chelsea. 😉💯👍
Why is he getting bad it's not like it affected him
Please do a sheffield Wednesday video
For how good he is technically and athletically he is one of the least intelligent players I have ever seen in terms of football iq. He reminds me a lot of 2018-2021 Vinicius Junior

Tip of the iceberg. Most if not all professional athletes are on some sort of PED’s imo. I talk to an ex goalkeeper that played in the 3rd division in Germany and he said they were advised to take illegal substances to help aid with recovery and or boost performance.
If only he came to arsenal
noo, arsenal dodged a bullet, not even sure why they were seriously considering him, it was obvious from the start Mudryk was just a ukrainian club trying to scam a rich club. he was not worth more than $20 million and even that was a stretch just for his potential which obviously he doesn't have any.
