Some people got this message in the portal "We need more time to review your appeal. You will have an update by April 12." Did anyone get this message in previous years?
Regarding the Rec Letters: How a kid who is very involved in school activities can get a Rec Letter from outside of the school! we are talking about kids! this is absurd!
In his book he mentioned that UT cares for Rank+ SAT/ACT score only. There is also Academic Index formula that will help you to find out which college at UT you will get admitted.

Would it be better for a CS applicant to submit an 800M 740RW (1540) or a 790M 770RW (1560)?
Chose UT over NYU for business. Hopefully this is a good decision considering the future for finance in Austin
Will they continue to not take superscores or will they superscore?
What about automatic admits? Will the SAT become a hurdle or will they simply not consider it for those top 6% students?
