The chocolate we know today went through some kind of evolution. The Aztecs made chocolate drinks which were rather bitter and spicy. So they found out about the fermenting and drying process and centuries later some Spanish guy added honey and sugar.
Nope, he first needs to start a family buisness dating back to caveman times dedicated to making chocolate. By then the chocolate technique will have been perfected so well that the chocolate cannot be further improved

Some chocolate they did sell with neighbors but with very cheap price lol. We used to have a cacao tree in our backyard. My grandma will ask us to eat the flesh around the seed but we have to spit the seed and save it for later. She will then dry the seed in the sun and roast them. We call it Tablea in the Philippines.
This brings back memories. Back when I was younger, me and my family watched this kids tape called "The chocolate secret" where two grandparents have a chocolate house, and one day their grandkids ask "Grandma, where does chocolate come from?" And half of the family goes to Brazil to find out, and the other half is in a factory looking at how it gets to the stores from the factory
So around 40k IDR, but I usually got it for free tho. In my ma hometown my gramp had a ton of cocoa tree and I'll ate the fruit then spit the seeds and put then under the sun lmao. The fruit taste sour
Oh man, the memories. Some people might not know this but you're supposed to suck that outer extract first cause that is sweet asl. We got some of these as local wild fruits that we really enjoyed as kids. Kinda of gross though, but we just pooled it out after the "sucking", leaving it out in the running water for 1-2 hours, another rinse for 30 mins, 3-4 days sun drying, and 2-3 hours slowly roasted. After that, we just break the outer part of it leaving only this brown roasted seed that smells good like pure black chocolate (it tastes bitter though). Then it gets pounded up and formed into like a little cookie. Put some hot water and sugar in it and your set. Yeah, it smells and tastes like a pure chocolate
If you’re the only one eating the chocolate. Before you dehydrated the seeds, you can put them in your mouth and like use your tongue to take off the surrounding white stuff. It’s got a good flavour! And makes the dehydration process a lot faster if doing it in the sun. They do that a lot in Costa Rica
Deff worth it for him to buy that chocolate. Video already makes more then the chocolate costs, as well as the fact he can write it off as a business expense… This guy has the infinite money glitch irl.
For peopel that want to do this for health reasons, I recomend replacing the coconut oil with olive oil amd add no sugar to it.
