Hi Jane, thank you so much and I'm so happy to hear you liked the wreath. And thank you so much for the comment about my laugh, I appreciate it. Take care and all the best to you as well. 😊
Hi Scottie, yes, I am happy with the roses in the end as well. I wanted the ribbon, but like I said in the video, it was too "droopy" and looked odd...if that makes sense. HAHA. Have a good one and hope you're doing well. 😊😊😊
I have become a new subscriber of your work. Such a unique spin, I never thought about spray painting the grapevine wreath. Loved the feather and rose effect. I love it! Thank you for sharing
Hi Dave I absolutely love how that turned out. I haven’t ever painted one but I definitely want to give it a try now! Again super amazing 🪶🪹💯👍🏼🧡🎃 can you do a witches hat wreath? I’d love to see what you would do with it. Thanks for sharing this 🧡
Hi Kellie, thank you so much and I'm so happy you liked the wreath. This was the first time I spray painted a grapevine wreath, but I think I will try more in the future too. I haven't seen the witches hats yet in my local stores, but I am trying to get one...and as soon as I do, you'll see it here. HAHA. Take care and thank you. 😊
Dave, I have made 3 of these wreaths - for my brother, for a friend, and for my home. (And my son has asked me to make him one -- perhaps next year!) I am getting tons of compliments on these wreaths as they are so different. I explain to everyone that it isn't my design but yours and that they can do it too! I have also made the deco mesh ruffle wreath as, {well as the Dollar Tree mesh (with the maple leaf) wreath adding scare crows to match the ones that I put in the mums - many compliments}. I made the deco mesh ruffle wreath made it with (mostly) black and orange and a Dollar Tree spider (that I spray painted black). Again, lots of compliments and I again explain it is your design and creativity and all I do is follow.... Again, thank you.
Hi Marion, that is so great that everyone is loving your wreaths that you made them. I am so glad you enjoyed the wreath and are making your own. So much fun!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. Take care.
Dave, that is gorgeously unique!! Is that proper English?? LOL!!! I love it.. I definitely would have a gone with with roses like you did... 👍👍👍😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Tamala...that's proper English in my books. HAHA. Thanks so much, I'm so happy you liked it. I had way too much fun making this one for sure. HAHA. Great minds think alike!!! HAHA. Have a good one.
I love all of your choices on it, Dave! The roses are perfect! I think maybe a small Poe quote on a very small wood sign would be a cool addition. Maybe hung with some curled wire that looked rusty... Dunno, that just jumped in my head.. Also, I just finished my very first Halloween wreath using the curl method that I learned from you. I'm going to post it to IG and tag you. I actually learned it from your Easter bunny wreath but this was the first chance I've had to try it. Can't wait to share it!
Hi there, the Poe poem suggestion is such a great and fantastic idea!!! Love it!!!! I'm so glad you did your first Halloween wreath, so exciting isn't it? HAHA. Yes, tag me on IG, I wanna see it. Thanks so much for watching and for such a great comment. Take care.
@@DavesWreaths thank you so much for responding. I'm new to this whole making crafts thing! Haha. I'm wondering how many spools of mesh you would recommend for each different size wreath? I feel like I just can't get it figured out!
@@staceyclow7014 Hi Stacey, that is a great question and I can answer it the way I would make wreaths. I tend to like a full wreath, so I don't see the actually wire from the wreath frame. If I'm using a 14" wire wreath frame and 6" deco mesh, then I will use 6 rolls (these rolls are typically 6"x10yards). When you use a larger wreath frame like an 18" one, then you'd need about two more rolls. Or if you're doing 10" mesh, than it's typically a larger roll and you only need two. It will depend on the roll size, the wreath frame size, the method you use and personal preference in the end. I know that's a lot to throw at you, and I hope it helps a bit. Thanks.

HOW CREEPY! I LOVE IT ! LOVED THE ROSES!! Hi Dave! Ive been binge watching your videos & I have learned alot so thank you ! I do have a question though, ive used 10 inch deco mesh the kind with the foil stripes through it and did the pouf method with red and green and still see the wreath frame through the mesh is that normal if not what do i do next? thanks so much for all you do! ~Kelley
Hi Kelley, thank you so much and I'm so happy to hear you love the wreath. I'm so so glad you are learning from my videos, that's what keeps me going when I hear this. Thank you so so much. If you still see the wire through your mesh, that's not a bad thing or anything you did wrong, it's just the mesh itself is a little more "see through", if that makes sense. You can always adds ribbons of different patterns that coordinates with your colour theme. That will take the focus off the wire and cover it up a bit as well. Hope that helps. Take care.
