Thank you David! Donald and Daisy on the Red Car! Priceless! Especially Donald spotting you, special, and giving you the heart hands! Stunning! FreshBaked! 🥳
I remember riding the monorail in the 1960s when there wasn't anything between Disneyland and the Disneyland Hotel except the city of Anaheim. No one got off unless they were staying at the hotel. DCA was a parking lot.
I love riding in the nose cone of the monorail, so glad to see it's back. Even better, though sadly no longer available, was riding in the Mark III's Bubble. Got to do that once and only once, but OMG what a great experience. The Mark I and Mark II's had a bubble, but I think just for the driver. The Mark III bubble was larger and could accommodate a couple more people next to the driver (or at least two kid-sized people). This was in the 70's when there were no annual passes, and even a SoCal family would usually only visit once a year. MAYBE twice, if you were lucky, or could go with a friend's family or something. So there just weren't many opportunities to ride up there. I was about 12 (as was my friend), and we were just hoping to ride in the nose cone. Image our excitement when the driver gestured to us and said "Hey, how'd you guys like to ride up here with me?" Well... YEAH!! To this day, some 50 years later, it's one of my favorite Disneyland memories. It felt like very rarified air indeed up there. The view was even better than in the nose cone, You could see the controls and watch the driver doing his thing, and when you leaned right or left you very noticeably leaned MORE right or left, which made it so much fun. I'm almost surprised they didn't require a seat belt. We were effusive with our thanks when we got back to Tomorrowland (as was my friend's Mom), and the driver seemed genuinely like a guy who loved his job, and loved to make a kid's day. We saw him invite two more kids up there as we exited. I've always liked riding in the nose cone when I could in the years since, and I remember being bummed when they stopped allowing it after 9/11 for a pretty long time... then brought it back... then stopped again with the pandemic. So I've glad to see it's back, and hope to do it again. But being in The Bubble was just simply awesome.
16:37 honestly one of the best jungle cruise captains I’ve heard it in a minute, everytime I get it on it now feel like most of them are the same. But then again maybe I don’t get on it enough
My family is visiting the park in little over a week! I have been watching all your videos like a savage to get your tips. Might I say you are such a delight! I love your genuine positive attitude and just seeing Disney through your eyes! Thanks so much for sharing!
lol i shot that with a future construction video in mind and forgot I was also shooting a regular vlog. anyway...theyr'e supposed to be fixing the piranhas while it's closed lol.
Honestly the water show at Pixie Hollow slapped! It was maybe 10 years ago or more that we looked forward to seeing it every year because it had music and lights under the water and even a part of the show where water shot over the pathway! It would be amazing to have that back even with all the closers of all the shows all around the parks.
That Plaza Point Inn Queue Line happens to be crowd management for the customization line for the ornaments and Mickey ears. It was definitely surprising and new to me, but obviously, there’s enough people lately this season to keep them busy.
You caught me getting off Jungle Cruise. Same for me, wanted to ride it before it went down. When I was around 8, I wanted to be a Jungle Cruise Captain. Also wanted to see Al (moved from Mr Lincoln) See where they were relocating him, but he took 4 days off.
"How do they do [Audio transitions] Essentially hidden speakers around the land are playing the music loop for that area. when you get close to the transitions, the audio to those speakers are playing at a lower volume, and more pointed towards the inland of that land. when you reach the dead zone for the audio, there is silence between both loops due to low volume and audio direction. stepping into Adventure land in this case, there is speakers near the gateway pointing in towards the land, mildly aimed towards the gateway, and the process is applied in reverse.
I applaud you for adopting the Vin Scully approach to narration - minimal, letting us soak in the sounds of Disneyland on our own. Thanks you.
Thank you for invoking the inimitable and illustrious Vin Scully!!
Thank you David!

Cheyenne is one my favorite skippers!!!
Yup! Her delivery is aces!
Nothing bites like Fresh Baked doing a looong close up of the "piranha". Hey, the bubbles were fun. 😬😂

I needed this today. Thanks for your videos.
Lovin it David, well done my friend. Namaste
Been waiting for this to drop since you mentioned it in the construction update!

The Disney Winds got you on to the Texas Deck! Yay!
These videos are so awesome!! Thanks as always!!
FRESH BAKED ❤😊
That area you pointed out at the entrance to Tomorrowland was the house of tomorrow when I was a kid.
Hey Fresh Baked!!
Do you remember when the Jungle Cruise boats had cushions? Those seats are the most painful.

I think it would be lovely if they put a solar panel fountain in that forgotten area.
They should have tickets half price for all refurbishments going on.
They have had discounted tickets for the last few months.
Sainpa, ❤❤😊
Nice video. To bad admission is too expensive for a family trip.
Yeah it’s sad seems like they abandoned that Tinker Bell/ princesses area (I forgot the name) that used to be beautiful area with fountain…. 😢
Pixie Hollow!

I’m going 1st week of December and hopefully it’s not crowded.
Do we know why they stopped doing the mini world of color display? I'm so sad about it not happening.
Me three! We are now "manifesting" it's return!
If you have Hat or Glasses BEST REMOVE THEM! 🖖💜👌
The horror!
But the rest of the tour was very nice thank you!!!
