Sir, what is the use of optical amplifier ?? Because we already used signal regenerater and it's also make signal strong .... Instead of optical amplifier can we use signal regenerater??
Yeah, one can use signal regenrator, in case of noise effect. One should use Amplifier in case of Attenuation. Signal regenrator is costlier then Amplifier, so take care before you take decision.

What's the difference between optical amplifier and regenerator ckt?,,,,,they both are doing the same task of improving the weak signal...
Regeneration is again generating same singal while amplifier is increasing amplitude. So amplifier can have more noise compared to regenerator.

In case of distortion of signal, we need regeneration of signal and if signal is attenuated then we we amplifier

Drive Circuit controls the amount of current given to the light source. In this way intensity of light in light source is controlled.
