I’m someone who has Asperger’s syndrome, or level 1 autism believe is the modern terminology, and severe ADHD. So while my intelligence and skills are not limited, I have often have a very hard time stopping shutdowns, meltdowns tend not to look as bad as they did before (curling up in a ball like a child would when feeling scared. Yes this is how intense daily life is for many people on the ASD spectrum, no we are not children inside) So I tend to ask myself all of the questions in this video every day.
