I agree. It seems as if they are handling multiple characters a bit better, and actually doing a pretty good job of showcasing Oliver as the Mayor. They got the action right in the beginning, haven't seen anything terribly mind-blowing since then. I do think that the latest twist was unexpected, up until the episode it was revealed in. After that the character seemed blatantly obvious to be the character he is. I wish that was a bit more subtle. Overall, it's going a lot better than it was.
