the idea that her actual position being this eluded is one of her charm i'd say.
@@pandora3309 well based on their holotalk Kiara mentioned that "she is a Director" (these were Kiara's words). It could also possibly be, she's comparing A-Chan's position to a Director.
To me, it's not so much about "starting at 0". It's about "Staying at 0 for long enough that 99% of other people in your shoes would have given up and moved on, but deciding to be the 1% to stay and push forward regardless". Suisei truly is the diamond in the rough, the shooting star that soars majestically bringing light to the darkest corners of the night sky, the idol vtuber. 💙Sui-chan wa kyou mo chi--

Man, that last "Kyou mo kawaii" on stage always make me tear up 😭
It reminds me of when other big artists experience tech or mic problems during a concert, and we get to see the look on their faces when the crowd immediately picks up that there's trouble and starts singing the song themselves.
Or when Critical Role did a live showing of campaign 2 in a theater/arena and the crowd started singing their opening song.
There's just something about hundreds or even thousands of voices expressing love for something you've made, and getting to hear it in person. It's that moment of pure shock, disbelief, pride, and joy as they realize how much people love them and their work, and that they've made it in their industry.
Her journey is so inspiring, i'm so proud of her💙

Suisei's story is inspiring.
Aki Rosenthal's story is great too, and her sudden influx of EN fans bringing her hope.
Or Subaru who's been through a lot... like her house burning down, having lost everything she got suggested to apply for Hololive, with no idea what a VTuber was.
And Luna... who... was in the agency one shall not name in her past life, basically bullied out of the company where no one even bothered showing up to her graduation... then joining Hololive.
And I'm sure there's a lot more, I just suck at remembering things.
And Luna kept struggling when she joined Hololive, being the least popular in her gen for a long time, not really finding her feet until well into it. But now she recently hit 1 mill subs, and easily hit 5-8k CCV.
But also yes, there's several other stories like that in the company too. Calli and Kiara fx. have somewhat similar stories, of going to Japan to try and make it in the music scene there, Kiara as an idol, and Calli as a rapper, both of them having experienced performing at bars and stuff for literally no people at all some days, both being extremely discouraged. Hell, Kiara was basically on her way to travel back to Austria before she signed up for Hololive as her last chance. Calli had found decent success already though, and just singed up with Hololive on a whim, but ended up being very happy she did.
Am I'm not aware of any really deep details, but I did check out her past life, and she was very small time, barely cracking 100 viewers most days, despite her very creative streams even back then.
Kanata has a disease that's making her hearing worse over time, and there's currently no cure for it, only ways to hold it back.
Over on the Holostars side of things we also have Aruran who was in such a bad spot, he couldn't even afford a proper bed, and even made it a little stream event that he and a few other of the boys went out to buy him one.
And I'm sure there's plenty more too, but I didn't want to make this wall of text even bigger than it already is haha xD I know it sounds corny, but Hololive has legit saved the lives of a lot of these people.
Hell, if we go back to Calli for a little bit: outside of career success, she was saved on a more emotional level. She used to be a lot more negative and down on herself, but through her Hololive activities, she's realized the worth of her work.

A-chan is Cover corps backends face in the industry.. like if something like the Niji disaster happens, they wont ask their talents to do a black screen video.. A-chan will take the podium and deliver the news first. she did it for Rushia, she did it for Mel. A-chan and Nodoka (the new employee) main job is management.. but they do play some games every once in a while during slower weeks with not much news to cover... Also because koyori do have a daily morning show, a lot of the need for trivial news is no longer needed to be cover deeply by A-chan in their weekly video.. she just needs to recap stuffs, which opens up time for a lighter mood and more interaction with chat, instead of just a "manager news anchor."
Also, Irys who was in the EN music branch, Hololive Vsinger EN.. also went through similar situation as Suisei, where she basically got ignored by the staff that was supposed to manage Vsinger branch.. and she went about a year with nothing happening on the music side of things, except for the music she released herself.. no 3D, no live, no concerts...
Because she debuted like just weeks before HoloCouncil, they decided to merge those 2 groups together to HoloPromise. and she now falls in under the main Hololive branch, instead of being a seperate music focused branch.
@@ZolfriedThe EnVsinger project completely died out when the manager that was supposed to be behind OmegaÆ left the company (or so i guess but it's the only explanation that made sense), which left our poor bringer Hope all alone in middle without a place she truly belong in. That why it's the best thing to possibly happen when the Council girls unofficially adopted her as a "fellow juniors below their Holo Myth senpais" group before it was even official. Many of us has started calling them CouncilRys as Irys became their additional 6th ranger. Not an official member, but she's still part of the team. It's pretty much impossible to think about Irys and the Councils separately as they made sure to include her with them as much as they could. It's a bit bittersweet that they became Promise after Sana had left cuz honestly, I'd bet it still would've happened either way but nevertheless still happy that it did and I'm sure same goes for Sana as Sana is eternal.
As a hoshiyomi of many years, seeing Suisei where she is now makes me extremely proud and sappy. Everything she's pushed through and where she is still going just makes me so happy to call her my kami oshi

Man I love her and how much perseverance it took to not quit and keep going through the rough early times of Hololive. And now she's there inspiring the new generations to keep pushing. Very proud to call her my oshi.

It's really amazing how much of Suisei's story parallels Dokibird's (a Canadian independent vTuber who in her past life worked for Nijisanji EN). What Doki went through was beyond ridiculous.
I think I first watched this a little after her First Take videos came out. I was absolutely floored after hearing about all that Suisei has been through. I actually cry every time it gets to the part about her father being proud of her. Suisei is such an amazingly strong person and she deserves the world.
Suisei is an incredible lass, and she deserves every bit of love and support. ❤
Every time I see videos of people who started from humble beginnings and become a massive success, I feel humbled. It makes you realize how much you need to sacrifice, the level of commitment, and the amount of will & compromises you need in order for your dreams to come true and here I am on my lazy ass watching videos and playing video games instead of doing something about it. In the end I would just lie to myself and say I'll go do it on my own pace and end up not doing anything at all. But one day I will get there.... Eventually...

Dream World Witch does really good videos of between 10 to 15 minutes telling a lot about each vtuber he is talking about. I'm sure you'd love his work. Look it up if you ever feel like it.

this is the reason we are so proud of her when she did something you wouldnt think before, like that still still stellar album, the first take, 3d idol concert, and so on especially when you are with her when she's still diamond in the rough, right now she's fully polished, super star idol like she always wanted.. when you are seeing her dreams comes true right in front of your eyes, you remember the number of times when she's crying on the streams, when she's complaining about it, god look how far she's come

Our Comet is one of those stories of start from the bottom, raise to the top. Hard work, persistence, and her charm, she is now doing songs for big time anime movies. Has sold out solo concerts. Keeps pushing forward.
I always tear up when I watch this video 😭😭 I'm so glad I'm a fan of Suisei! I remember finding out about her from the MV of her song "Next Color Planet". From that moment, I enjoyed listening to her music.
Suisei really defines Hololive as an agency that balances amazing musical talent with serious gaming and endearing comedy, rather than focusing on any one of those things. It's so crazy how close both Cover and Suisei came to not carrying through with that, but it's also so inspiring to look back on the story.

You're OK, and so is she. Suisei's story is so inspiring, but it also requires a lot of luck and hard work. If even one thing didn't work out the way it did, things could have turned out much differently.

The girls all have some touching stories which can hit you very hard once you hear them like Kanata and Subaru's stories and those are the two which come of first off my head. Would include Kaichou but her dream was completed affer leaving Hololive though even then it still remains a part of her.
Suisei's journey should be made an anime.
Not my favourite video about Suisei (nothing really wrong with it there are just other ones that I find higher quality/are more detailed).
I will admit it works relatively well as an introduction though.
