Let's start with some details:
70% Leather, 30% Nylon
Synthetic sole
Durable suede leather and performance nylon upper
YKK side zipper for quick on/off
Non-metallic ASTM F2413-15 rated composite toe for protection
Moisture wicking, breathable lining
Removable cushioned insert
Lightweight cushioned EVA midsole
Overall, I like these Bates combat boots. They are comfortable, not too bulky, offer great protection. If you are shopping around for the best waterproof military boots or composite toe military boots, these Bates military boots might be a great option to consider.

I love my bates GX-8 Boots I use them in warm weather and no problems! greetings from santa cruz - Bolivia
I just bought a pair, and I love them so far
It's not that military and law enforcement prefer bates. It's that bates sells boots in authorized colors and they're sold in base stores and they're relatively cheap. It's kind of hard to find a good pair of boots that fit right in colors and configurations that military and police departments require.
I could’ve sworn I saw a pic of some soldier in a Huey helicopter wearing these exact pair in tan colorway, and I’ve seen numerous cheap knockoff copies of it, named as “DELTA” boots.
Those knockoff DELTA boots are actually made in China, so yeah, they quality tend to be lower.
@@iqbaalannaafi761 Yeah, just as expected. I’m sure they’re going to wear out much faster than the actual Bates GX-8s, but I’ve yet to see one in a bunch that’ll last as long.

This boot is a cheap imitation of BATES DELTA 9! Delta 9 was a great boot that lasted several years of abuse. Now they nolonger make good boots. Their delta 8 is one season boot. GX is much the same my lining inside all ripped and stitches falling apart
