Sam finally admitting her fears and talking about the previous engagement was heart warming, and i love when Jason was mentioning all the cute things she does and finally saying that he loves her and that it's not enough to say the words anymore, that he wants to prove it... and I love Maxie but c'mon... I love that Jason finally screammed at someone at the door "please go away!!!"
This scene is all about why it's always going to be Sam for Jason. There's no baby on the way or any sort of obligation. There are no lies or manipulations. Jason wants Sam to be his wife. It's that simple. She doesn't need to trap him or lie to him or guilt him into making a commitment to her. All Jason wants is Sam. And all Sam wants is Jason. Their love is based on honesty, respect, trust, and knowing each other's flaws, accepting each other as they are without trying to change the other because they belong together.
Love the scenes.. SO many great lines. Sam: " Remember when we got engaged, we both thought you were going to die, so you ask me to marry you so that I could have something to hold on to". JASON: "I ask you to marry me because I loved you".. LOVE that he clarified that immediately. it was all about the love.
FAVORITE line.. Jason "I love you, but it's just not enough saying the words anymore. I want to Prove it to you:... He wants MORE!

"PLEASE GO AWAY!!!" Love when Jason said that! Can he please say that to the other people that try and interrupt them when they're expressing their feelings to each other!!! I love everything that Jason said to Sam! I hope that everything that he said to her will change her mind and she will say yes to his proposal!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
I'm a man, but i must say, that last line from Jason to Sam was really romantic
I already said that the JaSam scenes were perfect but my ultimate favorite things that Jason said was for Sam to trust him and that saying I love you isn't enough, he wants to prove it to her. He said that last part with so much conviction I was like wow - only on TV. I love confident Jason. Go ahead Jason woo your girl and don't back down!
I second that! It's not enough to say the words....i like to had my heart burst open! I used to be die hard for Sonny/Brenda & Frisco/Felicia but they don't hold a candle to Jasam! Some days they have me ugly crying lmao😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤

I LOVE JASAM! One of the best couples ever! I have been watching soaps for over 40 years and no other couple has brought me such joy. I have never loved or rooted for a couple more than JASAM. They are really the only reason I watch GH. They are true magic. There interaction when they are alone is incredible. They have the power to make me forget that this is just make believe and that they are not a real couple.
They have such intense scenes, I be almost crying. Jasam is the perfect couple!

This is the JaSam that I can wait to get back together on the show right now. Yes, they’re not the exact same people they were but at their cores, these two were made for each other and it’s why they always fight their way back together because they are able to deny it for only so long but I have to say that I am proud of Jason bringing up that his lies were what made them fall apart that first engagement because tbh I really do place all the blame on him for agreeing to lie to Sam about Jake. The others like Carly and Sonny were his family but he was not promising to commit his entire life to them like he did Sam who would have been saddened but gotten past it and perhaps even convinced him to fight for his place in Jake’s life. However the way he treated her... if that’s what was making her hesitant to get engaged she would be totally justified.
So true, About everything you said, every time ppl go back to why they broke up in '06 they blame Sam for sleeping with Ric but they weren't together, he slept with Liz so they were both wrong, they forgave each other and moved on except once Jason found out he was Liz's baby father he's the one who brought lies and deception into their relationship, he went to go see Liz time after time behind Sam's back, he kept it a secret about Jake being his son, I've said it before the truth would've been all it took from Jason & the aftermath that came later wouldn't have happened but I glad Jason knows his lies hurt Sam badly maybe that's why he forgave her for the things she did concerning Jake bc he knew that was not the kind of person she was.
We agree with both of you. We think you guys are totally correct in your analysis in the whole 2007 break up and Sam's hesitation to get married.

The only thing I didnt like is what Sam said about the first time they got engaged. It wasnt because they thought he was going to die??? He asked her before that and she agreed then he asked her again after the train wreck and she told him she already agreed!! Other than that, I LOVE THEM.. and I love that Its jason thats really going with this... LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Loved the JaSam talk so much and Maxie and Spin grabbing the phone from Sam is just too funny lol
Did anyone else find it hilarious how both Spin and Maxie took the phone out of Sam's hand and hung up on the guy who thought his wife is cheating and Sam was totally exasperated and was waving her hands in frustration.
All I can say is OMG, Luv me some JaSam ; p
Today was just amazing! Great day to be a Jasam fan and it's only going to get better!! Everytime i think i can't love them more something like today happens and it's just...no words to describe it!!

Damn, I no there’s a better proposal coming but Jason was about to propose b4 Maxi interrupted! Finally the writers r bein true 2 these characters. The dialogue in the JaSam scenes was perfect. Jason - “u fight what would make u happy, ur afraid if u get it it's goin 2 b taken away.” Jason knows Sam. Loved the mention of Sam's fearlessness, 1 of my fav things about Sam, especially how she thinks she can kick anybody's butt despite her size. How can u not love JaSam!?

Sam acts like a guy sometimes. I mean most men are not into marriage and the whole commitment thing doesn't appeal to them, and NOW Sam is virtually trying to avoid discussing marriage with Jason. I don't blame her the idea scares me shitless, but JASAM OBVIOSLY belong together and Sam has accepted his proposals several different times so she should at least consider it and let Jason and herself be happy. Maxie is great, but a romance killer at the same time.

I didn't love the all Spinelli Maxie saving thing But I understand it was plot point..In the end Jason is showing he wants it all on his own!!
And EEEE that talk was so great finally some talk about the scares of the past,Jason also knows Sam so well everything was AMAZING!!!

I LOVE Saxie scenes. More please. I much prefer their friendship over lulu/maxie or sam/Abby. Why they stopped showing their friendship never made sense
I love everything about this, still I am sad about the fuckening that stopped happy marriage and it was so disappointing, I mean all of it.
Okay, so Jason and Sam getting engaged didn't bring Spinelli back. That sucks.
Don't get me wrong. I think Jackal P.I. is cool, but I'm mostly hoping that they'll get Spinelli back to his normal... er, old self before Sonny finally gets sick of it and takes him out to the pine barrens.
@Jasamgonewiththewind ITA with ur point about the best line, even included some of it in my post. When I heard it I thought that makes so much sense. Was proud of the writers for writing like they actually know their characters. As a fan I want Sam to stop dragging her feet, but that is so Sam. She is so fearless about so many things as Jason pointed out but not when it comes to the next steps in their relationships or her heart.

I'm sorry but Jackal PI annoys me way too much🤣🙄. Pair him with Maxie hanging up Sam's call, I felt Sam's exasperation, I wanted to hit the wall lol. this group (Jasam/Spixie) make me forget it's only fiction argh🤦♀️😂
@jsam4ever True but the whole thing with them breaking up and Jason and Liz as well as Sam and Lucky being together kinda made them a lot stronger this time around.:) Still so damn cute!

How rude of Jackal PI and Maxi to hang up the phone while Sam was talking. Shouldn't Jackal PI be seeing a psychiatrist? He thinks he's somebody else & could potentially get killed by his stupidity, even more so than when he was just Spinelli. Why isn't Maxi working?
