"For Good" from Wicked | West End Elphabas and Glindas reunite for Make a Difference

- The Make A Difference Trust has launched a brand new initiative to provide emergency funds for the theatre community.
The "COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund" will aim to support those experiencing hardship because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
To celebrate the launch of the scheme, 23 West End actresses who have played Elphaba or Glinda in ''Wicked'' came together for a special performance of "For Good".
The Witches are Gina Beck, Emily Tierney, Helen Dallimore, Louise Dearman, Kerry Ellis, Sophie Evans, Alice Fearn, Ashleigh Gray, Emma Hatton, Jacqueline Hughes, Alexia Khadime, Suzie Mathers, Natalie McQueen, Rosa O'Reilly, Michelle Pentecost, Laura Pick, Dianne Pilkington, Amy Ross, Savannah Stevenson, Rachel Tucker, Willemijn Verkaik, Lisa-Anne Wood and Helen Woolf.

I was lucky enough to see her as Glinda opposite of Rachel Tucker. They were an amazing couple.
I noticed that 4:30 to 4:40 after she did her solo as Elphaba from 3:12 to 3:18.
I like how everyone is dressed as sunday best and Willemijn is just rocking her quarantine look.

She's done the show in three different languages, she has nothing more to prove lmao
Can we talk about all the Glindas doing the "and" EXACTLY at the same time? Like you can hear little phrasing differences throughout the whole piece because of course everyone sings it differently, but that particular cue must be SO specific for that many Glindas to hit it at the same time.
There's a cut right before that line, it was probably used to re-synch everything.
Still a neat little moment.

Once Willemijn popped up, my heart did a tiny backflip - I have loved her for so many years.
I had the great honor of seeing her with the absolutely breathtakingly talented Suzie Mathers as Glinda in 2017 and it was the best thing to ever happen to me.

I love Willemijn for doing all the charity projects she can! She is also performing for free this Saturday to save a small theater in Amsterdam from closing. She is such a gem! ❤
Willemijn is an actual goddess. I've seen some great Elphabas - including Rachel and Alexia - but Willemijn.... she's the best.

Yay, Willemijn! Was so glad to see her included. I had plans to see her as Jenna in Waitress but sadly because of Covid-19 they scrapped that production. Still so bummed about that.
I love how everyone has their makeup and hair perfectly done and then there is Willemijn :P
I also really wanted to go to Waitress - really hope they will be able to do it in 2021!

I'm a senior in high school. I'm in choir and a tradition of ours is singing this song at the end of the year to send off our seniors. For this reason I will never not cry during this song. It touches me on such a personal level.

I loved seeing Sophie Evans in this. Saw her on the west end as Galinda after I followed her throughout the beginning of her career in Over the Rainbow. Lovely voice and nice bubbly personality. She was my favourite throughout, plus I like supporting fellow red heads 😁

💔💞 Got a call last night that my mom who tested positive last week is now very ill. I never imagined that I would not be with her at the time of her leaving. Nor did I ever imagine that this song in particular would ever make me cry while reminding me just how much I have to be grateful for in the friend and mother my mother turned out to be. Lucky to see Helen Dallimore & Kerry Ellis in 2011, and they were both amazing singers.....still one of my favourite musicals, and looking forward to seeing it again in the future!
I couldn’t sing along with the cast of Wicked, because I’m moved to tears. It’s great to see & hear these talented ladies, who had the honor & privilege to play Glinda & Elphaba in West End’s production of Wicked, the show I dream to be in. Bravo!

Yeah, I admit it...I'm a 56 year old bloke with tears in his eyes! Lost both my parents (Dad 97, Mum 92) last year, 5 weeks & 2 days apart. Dad to COVID, Mum, whose carer I had been for 9 years, to Dementia. I always loved this song but now it has way more impact. A beautiful job & thank you for creating this.

Well, I understand her point... After years being Elphaba, she wants to give opportunity for others. We have her legacy: the best Elphaba in the entire world so far.
My greatest regret is not getting to see Alice Fearn or Willemijn Verkaik as Elphaba. I hate not living near London

That was absolutely incredible! I did a for good sing along and q&a put on by my dance school with Michelle Pentecost this morning and it was amazing! I really enjoyed listening to everyone together it gave me chills
I remember being this little girl that went to the dutch production of wicked with my grandma and just seeing Willemijn on that stage. She was and still is magical
This is just so amazing with so many great Elphabas and glindas and glad to say I have seen a few of these ladies in the show over the years and I have happily donated for such a great job you all do
