Just throw everything on it that pluses damage range and bullet velocity, or bolt velocity idk. Those two pros help immensely with long shots.

A good way to level up your guns is to go into plunder and do the safe cracker. When you open the last safe hold the gun you want to level up and you will get a guaranteed two to three level up on your weapon for every safe cracker mission you do

The only problem is that it is no longer one shot in warzone 2.0. Making it near useless unless you have explosive bolts. Hope we can get that fixed in the future, but i doubt it
It was popular for a week. It takes way to long to reload and the arrow drop is pretty noticeable at range. It’s a hit marker machine.
1 shot from the chest up yet I've gotten hit markers on torso shots from a foot away. Gotta love a game that nerfs you if you do to well, always awesome.
Just like guns doesn't it have a maximum damage range? Too close and it's weaker, too far and the damage falls off. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@yfam4yfam431 Based on my advanced TF2 (Team Fortress 2) knowledge, I would assume damage falloff in MW2 is (almost) always further = less damage.

There’s a close quarters build, at long distances the crossbow can’t compete with all of the other marksman rifles, and snipers with the exception of the EBR.
I unlocked the crossbow by doing a dmz mission and as soon as I saw the explosive arrows I knew I had to level it up. It absolutely terrorizes everyone if you can hit shots with it
I have a mix where it's ads speed is fast with explosive tip for guaranteed quality kills from long range
You just made me remember my time of 50 SECONDS bad as hell

I know I'm late, but for those who play dmz you can just stow the crossbow the bombmaker drops and exfil with it to unlock it earlier.
That fact that did l know it can counter UAV is something else man.
Despite me not using guns I'm gonna try that because the crossbow is my only favorite gun based weapon in this game

Somewhere out there on the internet is a Team Fortress 2 huntsman sniper/crossbow medic main that is salivating over the thought of this weapon being added to Modern Warfare
In gun games maybe they qre buffed but I always hit shots from one side to the other side of map always and there is rarely any drop
I like how they gave us the tunes for it
Use the Luca Bandera scope for the sniper that way you can switch between 3.4x and 8x
