Who is Shiva ?This video tells the contradictory views expressed by Sri sadhguru and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on God Shiva.
Whereas Sadhguru refers to Adiyogi as Shiva who came to this world 15000 years ago. And Sri Sri expresses that Shiva is not a person or time specific but present everywhere.
These two views give enough confusion in the mind of Shiva bhakta or followers of Sanatan Dharma.
In this video, I try to connect the common point which joins both the statements or views.
I shall be happy to hear if viewers have a different view of this.

I think u need show complete video about Siva by sadhguru, he also explains Siva means nothingness, that means whole of wholenesss
In that whole video, Sadhguru explains how Shi-Va means nothingness. So he also says it's a principle. There is no contradiction. Both says the same thing in their own ways.

Shiv , krisna,Ram these are embodiments of the param tatva which some call krishn tatva ,Shiv tatva in our sanatan dharm and in other dharma they call the same by other names ज्याके रही भावना जैसी....
This is the beauty of sanatan. Both can differ and both can stay correct at the same time. Sanatan teaches you to approach the divine only believe as your experience. Both are correct as per their experience. We may come to a different conclusion after our own experience. The only thing is one must strive and put pure intentions to it. This Ocean is there.. Master can teach you how to swim but you need to swim of your own. This formless endless energy will take the whatever form you believe in and will become your reality. This is why they say bhagwan bhakat K bus me he. Only a devotee has the ability to give shape and power to this raw energy. The intense one's bhakti is.. More strong the experience would be. And that energy will take the shape of your choice to come and play with you.
Not to confuse people.
Not to go too deep about the Lord. Just pray lord with Bhakthi. And do our duty.
There is no doubt , whether you say shiva is a yogi or principle , everything is comes from one source.
Sadhguru says, "Shiva means which is not" He also says shiva for Aadiyogi also.
Shri shri Ravi shankar talks about Shiva that is which not.....Not about Aadi yogi.
They are not contradicting ... both agree that Shiva means “that which is not” (nothingness or non-physical entity). Adiyogi is the first Yogi who realized existence of Shiva, so he is also referred sometimes as Shiva ... so , there is not contradiction...
For both Shiva means a lot of income.

Unmanifested is the absolute and when manifested he is Shiva ; what is important is not polemics but realising the truth for oneself ; Gurus will guide you, remove obstacles in one's spiritual path, finally it is you who has to walk all by himself and realise his own true nature that of being one without a second !
Sadhguru tells that the being who appeared at Himalayas 15k ago is named as AdiYogi. Additionally he also refers Shiva as a principle alike Sri Sri.
Sir you should listen to Sadhguru in full, there is no contradiction.
Adhiyogi is named after Shiva, as he is the first to reveal Shiva to us in this age.
Mahadev is called Shiva as he is the first to reveal Shiva in this cycle of the universe

While,both Gurus are extraordinary and extremely valuable for Humanity regardless of any religion,please do full and proper research on what Sadhguru ji has mentioned,he has stated a very similar statement like Gurudev Sri Sri on Shiva and somethings have also provided other contextual references to Shiva like in this video.It is also the responsibility of the listeners to understand/compehend what he is saying...he said..SHIVA appeared some 15k years ago....does that mean SHIVA only appeared 15K ago...it cud may one of the time he appeared it was 15k years ago.........please correctly comprehend what Sadhguru has stated....so that people can access the situation fairly.....please don't make your lack of research and comprehension......Sadhguru ji's problem.........Please understand that each organization or groups/deciple may have a bias/sense of their Org. or Guru being better and may want to be seen as a leader - which as an outcome leads to competiion @ Spirituality!
